How do you remember to use explosive running while thinking through the stage? I watch some videos of myself and if thinking about the stage I end up jogging instead of using explosive energy

Impressive! May I ask something? It seems you're holding the handguard kinda near to the receiver, I understand that the over agressive costa-style grip is outdated, it just feels a bit too near to the receiver when looking at it. Any comments on that? Also do you find that having the index finger parallel to the bore actually helps with letting the carbine follow your eyes, or is it just something that miculek recommended a while back and now became natural? Thanks and DVC!

Index finger - doesn't matter, it's just natural to me. Handguard - Limcat makes their PCCs with this 10.5" barrel with the comp+extension, so they use a shorter handguard. I run my stock out longer to compensate for it. I got used to it very quickly (within a few magazines) and can control the gun just as well. You have to remember that the forces from the gasses come out the comp which is just an inch or two infront of my support hand, while the rest is just a super lightweight titanium extension to bring the barrel to 16" so it's like it's not even there and I still have control where I need it

Hey Max, I just put in my order for a custom built JP Rifle for PCC, & was wondering which Silent Captured Spring did you end up with in ur build? I wanna make sure I’m getting the best is all
@Maxamundi
4 жыл бұрын
I don't use the silent captured spring in mine, but it's great in JPs. I think the standard 9mm weight, + short stroke is best if you're loading your own ammo. I think it has 2 tungsten and 3 stainless weights with the short stroke bumper. Great shooting gun.

Amazing job max. Very interesting to see you switch to the limcat. I listened to your podcast about trying the 10 in aluminum shroud, and that you actually went back to a 14 pin. I run a 14 jp and I'm curious if it makes that much of a difference running one of these extra long comp types or is it a wash. I'm not sure I would want to sacrifice hand placement options.
@Maxamundi

Yeah, it took some adjustment. I'm used to it now, I just run the stock longer. Not too much difference but the Limcat comp is really effective
