We run the 2019 Kawasaki Z400 on the Cycle World dyno to gather horsepower and torque performance.
Based upon the highly potent Ninja 400 platform, Kawasaki aims to conquer the lightweight naked market with its Z400. The Z model uses the same chassis package and 399cc parallel-twin engine as the Ninja, but receives more relaxed, upright ergonomics and is stripped of its main fairing. A relatively low seat height of 30.9 inches and feathery 368-pound weight makes this motorcycle attractive to new and experienced riders.
Cycle World ran the Kawasaki Z400 on its dyno to record horsepower and torque measurements. The Kawasaki produced 44.1 hp at 9,830 rpm and 25.1 pound-feet of torque at 8,250 rpm.
