Hilarious, the 11-0 was a way of saying, "don't get excited about that first win."

I agree with Andre that he was hindered on the last point of the second game.

Does Dean donate a ton of money to the tour? That has to be why they let him announce these matches. Or maybe no one else wants to do it? Either way, it’s painful. I’d hate to be the person who has to clean all his spit off the mic. Jesus Christ. Can you turn up the court sound and turn Dean way down?

The amount of comments from everyone asking for less Dean surely cannot go unnoticed. I believe more court sounds and less talking would even help to sport grow. There's a reason there is silence in other racquet sports.

Nick totally agreed. I just don’t feel Dean should be the voice of racquetball. I would never share this. I can barely stomach listening to a Long Island mechanic talking to hear his own voice

It's really, really bad. I'm sure he's an awesome guy but I have to tune him out. I wish like hell John could still announce but he's spinning other plates. They need to do something.

@@rcdixon76 Dean's main problem in my opinion is his racquetball knowledge is dated at best and all together absent in some cases. He and Charlie (who is an active player on tour) consistently disagree with what is or was the right thing in a given scenario. I wish Dean would spend more time simply commentating the matches rather than providing any opinion at all - let the actual pros give their thoughts on specifics of the game. When he argues with Charlie he looks foolish and unprofessional.

Kane's forehand splat to go up 11-10 in game 2 was 'the moment'. You could see it in Kane's body language right after that shot. He went 15-1 from that point forward.

It's so sad to see what has happened to racquetball. Looking at the small amount of spectators for an Open Finals match. It was certainly a much different story in the 1980's.
