The PCV (positive crank case ventilation) system takes fumes that are generated from heating the oil in the crank case. As well as blow by from the cylinders and recirculates what it can back into the intake to be burnt off. Partially contributing to buildup of more carbon on the intake valves. I actually just bought a catch can so that those fumes don't go into my intake and cause more of such buildup. I don't feel that it's necessary to let it happen. I've got 9,000 miles on my 22 PP. I want it as efficient as possible for as long as possible.

Money shift. 1-2-1 usually or downshifting to too low of a gear at highway speeds and letting out the clutch. All basically causing extreme overrev scenario
@-Ncrypt
2 жыл бұрын
@@matthewolson9704 i accidentally downshifted to too low a gear the other day on my N, i nearly had a heart and panic attack, and am still worried, although it's behaving fine and producing what seems to be full power. I shifted from 3rd to 2nd instead of 4th at about 50 maybe 55 mph. I INSTANTLY pushed the clutch back in then kept driving, but when it happened the wheels locked up for a split second until i pushed the clutch back in. I did a couple high speed runs after to see if it was still making the right amount of power and it is thankfully, and has continued to drive fine. Fingers crossed i didn't damage it Edit: or maybe it was from 2nd to 1st, i honestly don't remember too clearly, i just freaked out
