What Would Grant Do lol. Thats vtec you noob. VVT is primarily designed to give you more area under the curve so its designed for down low. On the suzuki it’s mechanical. The faster the bike moves in rpm there are balls that move to the outside adjusting the timing as you move through the rev range. Normally bikes are just peak number queens. Meaning their anemic down low and everything is after 8krpm. VVT specifically addresses that. Do some research.

What Would Grant Do no I didn’t. It’s clearly explained on every single review of the GSXR with VVT. It’s on Zuks promotional videos. You have to live under a rock to not know that VVT gives the bike its down low and mid-range punch. There is no escaping the fact that you argued miss-information and had no clue what you were talking about. Thanks for calling me a google expert. Thats a pretty big compliment.

@pdr5926
3 жыл бұрын
@@silverviper2184 In a way I was being sarcastic; like a flaw is helping the bike win, but as you said, more midrange torque would only put the traction control to work on the turns. I have a '05 10R (as you know it has no electronic assistance whatsoever) with some important head work, the mildest cam set from Web Cams, 13.5 CR, still 998cc, and it delivers 12.4 Kg/m (89 lb/ft) of torque at 10200 rpm, a number way above that of the stock engine. The bike felt much more uncontrollable than before on the track, just as it happened with your GSXR. So more midrange does not play a good role on the track. For the street rider, the easiest way to overcome a soft midrange is -1 tooth on the front sprocket. Very little investment.
