You only reduce the preload if you set the spring on 4 . If you want it stiffer you need another spring. When you want it a little bit Harder you must adjust the wheel on 3 or 4 . But this is only on perfekt roads good. Because if you loose contact with one front wheel the Abs will brake you down very hard. The only way you can manage this is to do all the wheel sensors together at the real wheel 😉. Sorry for my Englisch

Yes, my 900 Rally sways/drifts on uneven highway roads even with the stabilizer and Baja Ron Sway bar. It is set to 1 or 2 in front and 3 in back. I will change to 4 and see how it rides. Thanks for the tip.

1 or 2 is way too soft. Not only will it tighten up your front end but it will raise it higher giving you more clearence....

Remember to jack it up one side at a time to get the weight off the wheel...it's almost impossible to turn without doing so
