Comparing the pillion position to sitting on the toilet made me laugh 😆 and I liked your name for pillion handles too ! 🏍🇬🇧

Great review, really appreciate the feedback on two-up capabilities! As someone mentioned adjusting preload below, is that an easy/quick job on this bike?

The whole point of preload is to adjust your suspension for extra load. You’re ride would of been completely different if you had spent 2 minutes adding preload at the rear. By not adding preload you raked your bike out and slowed the steering.

Cali Moto TV - it’s a poor two up tourer design if you can’t easily change the rear preload with the onboard toolkit.

@Cali Moto TV, with the new changes for 2021 for both Supersport and the R Nine T, which would be the best 1 bike to get? A few track days a yr, but mostly street riding and customization. While both completely diff styles, the specs are so close in power and weight. Things i like for 2021. Upgrade for bmw r nine t =tubeless spoke wheel, throttle by wire, cruise control, abs pro, full led. For SS tft dash, looks, ohlins from factory, but sadly no cruise control. Thx in advance and happy thanksgiving! R Nine T 110 hp @7250k 88 tq @ 6000k 464 lbs Duc Supersport 950s 110 hp @9k 69 tq @6.5k 462 lbs

I'm getting back into motorcycles after a 20-year break and considering the Ducati Supersport S, thanks for your very interesting and informative video as I wanted to know if it would be suitable for two-up and comfortable for my wife as a pillion rider. Could you suggest any other bike around this size and weight to consider for two-up touring? also, considering the Kawasaki 900 RS how would you compare that to the Ducati?

Rather than the 900 RS you should look at the Ninja1000SX.

@@alanbriggs7177... Hey Alan you must be psychic! as I ended up buying a 2017 Ninja 1000 ABS about a month ago, I also bought a second bike a 2001 BMW R 1100 S just because I really liked the look of it, and thought that I should try a shaft drive just as a comparison to a normal chain drive, not had much riding experience yet as I'm still trying to build up my confidence on the two bikes, I do find the BMW a little more intimidating as it seems heavier but actually they are about the same weight, unfortunately, I have already dropped the BMW once when I stalled the bike leaving a service station after a fuel top-up, and I somehow lost my balance and after a 30-second struggle went down with the bike, sadly a few scratches now on the right side of the bike and a sore tendon in my left hand, I suppose that I got off lightly with that, but now I feel a little nervous about dropping the bike again, hopefully, that won't happen again any time soon, and especially not at the traffic lights, that would be so embarrassing! 🤞 😒

I really wish you'd touring Riders would stop riding the Supersport. You're ruining it for everybody who wants to ride it as a sportbike.

It's not a sportbike. The Ducati sport bike is the Panigale
