I like this video because of all the useful details. Trust me i watch way too many H-D videos, but you had practical information such as look at the used market, the bike is good for x but could do y, and the Nelson Rigg reference is just what folks need to know about the bike! New sub.

@@ANONYMOUSBIKERUSA I only got the regular ones not the Evo A so I can't adjust damping. They are much better than stock. I think I had a better ride with the Ohlins I had on my Road Glide. I much prefer the pre-load adjustment on the Legend shocks as I don't need wrenches like I did with the Ohlins.

Nice review. I had some extensive training on a Harley Electric Glide in 92 and loved it. However, I love my Wing more. If I were to switch to riding a Harley, I would go with the Road Glide Ultra Limited. But...I would hard press to give up the Wing, maybe I keep them both.

Well I caught the vid before I crashed for the night lol! Your review was a good one! I have never ridden the street, road or ultra. Just looking at them I like the street glide the best. Why? I like that the fairing turns with the handle bar! The street and road glides seem to hold their value very well, and they are always out of my price range lol! Ride and be safe down in La., AB USA!

I have a 2017 street glide special and its a smooth rider, strong motor even with a passenger. From a maintenance standpoint its a labor-intensive motor with three oil holes to change, three oil drain plugs, and even with a fan-assisted oil cooler a hot motor. Now the street glide in a looker but only after you perform many upgrades such as LED lighting, taller handlebars, grips, and windscreen. The chain primary drive on the left of the motor is very outdated. The M8 motor was a needed upgrade from the 2 valve per cylinder and twin cam but they will have to upgrade again soon to be on par with a more maintenance-free design like Indian, Honda, and Yamaha. There is so much competition out here now that taking away from Harley Davidson along with their prices not giving people bang for the buck, as of late 4 guys in my club now ride Indians for all the reasons stated above.

Man you said it. Who in their right mind would buy a new one when so many newer used ones are thousands less. That being said this is a really fine machine and I have been looking at the new standard model. 18k is still to much IMO. How does it compare to your Kawasaki?
@ANONYMOUSBIKERUSA
4 жыл бұрын
Good question! It definitely has more torque and power with the M8. That’s a punchy motor. But it’s not a ton more. All else it really has less in terms of no rear floor boards, no rear crash bars, no tour pack, no lowers etc. you def get a FULL dresser w the Kawasaki for way less money. The HD has great nav, Kawasaki has none. I added after market one for $399. If you want a full dresser I would compare the Kawasaki w the ultra for Apple to Apple comparison. I have NO regrets buying the Kawasaki. 🤘🏽
