When will the wiring harness for the gauge swaps be available? I’m loving the gauges you have mounted to the road glides fairing but I want to grab a road king and throw an FXRT fairing on it for a better look.

For a FL frame, what is the optimal rake y trail? How do you factor in the length of the swing arm?

I'm pretty sure that is just a Memphis Shades "Road Warrior" fairing. I have one and it looks just like that. Glide Pro makes one that looks pretty nice too.

Any chance you are going to make a wiring kit to do a RG gauge swap on a 09-13 RK? I can't find any info anywhere?

You have to make the harness for the gauge’s I would think buy a road glide harness should be Abel to unpin it and use the road king plug what I would look into first. If there’s a will there’s a way, good luck,

Okay, I gotta ask... Are you Aussie, New Zealander, or American? Your english kinda goes from Aussie/Kiwi to American english with certain words so I am thrown off. Great video but if you can answer that... that would be great

I don’t want to “ride aggressive”, or stand up on a Road King like it’s a dirt bike... It’s a Road King... rather than mid controls, I’d rather have forward controls, no crash bars, and ride 500, 600 miles a day.

First off, what are you going to charge the individual for doing all those modifications to his bike? My guess is that you are going to charge him over $4.000 for at best a few hundred dollars of bolt-on parts. Why do people do this? Because they want others to think they are hip, slick, and cool. I recently talked to a biker who paid over $1,200 to have his front wheel re-spooked with straight spokes? What a idiot! It takes less than a hour to put a new set of spokes on a rim, then another 20 minutes to put the tube and tire on and balance and then remount the wheel. Can anyone out there explain to me why anyone would pay over $1,000 for less than a hour's labor that any 15 year old kid can do? Anyway I would appreciate it if you would tell me what you charged this person for the work you described in the video. I''m not bad-mouthing you but this madness in having the shop do this stuff is insulting even to the shop and driving prices up for all of us.

I would just say that before you comment on such things you should probably do a little research about what he's talking about because you can't buy anything from ohlins for a couple hundred dollars or brembo for that matter. And it's obvious that you don't know about how Harley Davidsons handle suspension wise and breaking performance. I mean let's face it everyone loves to customize your Harley-Davidson with all sorts of aftermarket parts Etc why not customize it with parts that actually make it perform better, handle better ,brake better. To each his own I say. Not everyone is mechanically inclined. Not everyone lives in California near this gentleman's shop. Believe it or not some of us do wrench on our own bikes!!

@ne1sail

@@dannyMCDelight I did not mean to sound insulting but the cost of parts is obscene. 20 years ago a pair of handlebars cost $10-$20, why are they asking $400 today? Just saying. At the same time at a swap meet I bought a gallon jug of 6 or 7 oil pumps and assorted parts for $15, those same oil pumps and parts cost a few thousands dollars today. Why? Greed! People drag parts out of their garage and think they found gold. It's not going to stop until we all say "enough is enough." It's cheaper for me today to purchase a entire bike, strip the parts I need off it and part out the remainder for more than I bought the bike for. It's madness. I don't know if I want to continue to build bikes anymore. Peace.
