Chris Barsamian i would buy this over anything if I was in the market for a vehicle of this size. But Tahoe sales numbers are lot higher.
@1Barsamian
4 жыл бұрын
Sammy D. That’s just a result of advertising. Example: Ford F150 sales are 10 times more than that of the Toyota Tundra, however the Toyota Tundra is rated as the most reliable truck on the market, in its class (JD Powers and others), and it is also made in the USA using more US content than any other truck in its class. Go figure. Anyway, I would never buy anything from General Motors, for a couple reasons: 1) They took American tax payer bailout money and invested it in factories in China. 2) It’s union made garbage; they no longer can innovate, no money to do so, as they’re too busy paying the UAW $70 an hour to sweep floors in the UAW factories in Detroit and other UAW run facilities. No thanks. Since I graduated from college in 1981 I have owned 7 American cars; I was a GM-Hughes employee for years, I received the GM discount, so buying GM products was easy. It took me a while to learn, 6 of the 7 new vehicles that I purchased in my life were General Motors products (1982 Camaro, 1986 Firebird, 1996 Safari Van, 1998 and 1999 Suburbans, 1999 Ram Air Trans Am - also had a 1988 Ford Taurus); all of them were junk at best. The Trans Am, was the best of the bunch, but it still broke down all the time, always in the repair shop mostly warranty thank God. - at the time I was glad I bought the extended warranty from GM. After I woke up, I went Japanese (in 2002) and never looked back, no General Motors or Ford garbage products, no Fiat-Chrysler products either, nothing made by the UAW ever again. I bought a new 2002 Nissan Altima gave it to my son, we put 249,000 miles on it - no problems at all. Currently, I have a 2004 Nissan Armada, a 2010 Nissan Maxima, and last year bought a 2019 Toyota Tundra (all made in the USA too) - no car problems anymore, just basic recommended maintenance and they work great. I am in my early 60s now, and I do not live in the Salt/Snow Belt, so I may never have to buy another vehicle again. If I may be so bold, and make a suggestion: Buy Toyota, Nissan or Subaru instead of GM you’ll be happier if you do so. If I went Japanese back when I first graduated from college, I probably would not have needed to replace all those crappy UAW made vehicles so quickly. Perhaps I could have invested the money that I spent on cars in the market instead and maybe retired early. For the record, I think the Toyota Sequoia will run circles around the Chevy Tahoe, as the Toyota will last a long time (made in USA too, if that is a concern). Best of luck to you whatever you decide to buy.
