@@panterasonica-love-anime you wouldn’t flat foot with two feet, but would certainly be able to put one foot down by moving to one side of the bike. For everyone wanting to compare it to a 790, just remember that during a comparison that bike bandit did, the 790 broke down. Another reviewer, whose name escapes me, said their 790 has been in the shop for a bunch of electrical gremlins. The 700 doesn’t have a bunch of BS and the CP2 motor is extremely reliable. The KTM is safer, of course, because you don’t get to ride it as much.

For people with a loose/free gas cap. Just throw a leather or paracord strap on your keys. It helps you grab your keys from your pocket with gloves and when you get gas, just hang the loop from the brake cylinder, handlebar, lever... whatever. It's super convenient. That simple key loop gets as much use as my helmet or the actual key itself. Mine is just a small shackle bolt with a strip of thick black leather I stitched into a loop large enough to fit around my wrist if need be. Super cheap and easy to make.

Salesmanship out of the way here is the skinny on the Yamaha Tenere 700: *The Good:* Nice looking and good on road bike. Does many things right _"on road."_ *The Bad:* Like many "adventure" bikes the Tenere 700 is heavy due to trying to be a _Jack of All Trades._ At 452 pounds it is heavy for off road. *_Minor Bad:_* very, very floppy turn indicators & an annoying vibrating LED display. *The Ugly:* Top heavy bike, this major flaw has been documented to cause tip overs & crashes off road for the T7 more than other bikes. Conclusion If you go off road a lot pick another, lighter bike like many have done selling their Terene 700. If you ride mostly on road the T7 is a good, _not a great_ choice. The are much better on road motorcycles. The Yamaha is truly a *"Jack of All Trades"* & master of none.

Good review, took one out for a test ride and found the seat uncomfortable after 1 hours ride and the fork drive when braking pretty harsh. I wanted a touring come adventure bike. So no good for me. So decided on a BMW 850GSA, more refined and more comfortable although the 700T is a better off road bike then the BMW.

Do you or could you do a review on the Super Tenure as it would relate to a daily rider? From what I understand it is a bigger bike but it is very comfortable. The horsepower is not impressive but people who own them seem to really enjoy them. Is it just as versatile in your mind as the Verses 650 or the verses 1,000? Even if you do not do a daily rider review on this bike could you add a comment to my question to give me some understanding of how it would compare with other bikes in your ratings? I really appreciate your reviews. I am sure I'll make a bike selection based on them at some point in the near future. I am about 6'02 and 235 lbs. Thank you.

Really enjoying these reviews. They remind me of Top Gear in a way. Also, I get sentimental about your route because I grew up in Torrance. In fact, my mother taught me to enjoy twisties on PV Dr. East that you take which goes right past where I went to pre-school and took swimming lessons. Keep it up!

To me this is the bike you buy when you’re thinking about getting a new KLR but you remember that the KLR doesn’t even have 40 HP. I think this bike will take away a lot of the KLR business.

I really think cruise control should have been an option, maybe on a premium model for those of us that are willing to pay for what we want.
@SpottedCreeper

Yeah I agree. I used think cruise control was unnecessary, but now having had a bike with it for the last year, I'll never get another one without it. So useful for long trips.

Anyone knows what kind of recording setup has been used? This is one of the clearest voice I've ever heard on a moto vlog, just wondering what microphone he's using. I'm already sold on the bike she's an absolute stunner and I can't wait to get one.

There is a reason it's not a wheelie monster. The countershaft angle. It pushes the front down. Ryan F9 review explains very well.

How buzzy is this parallel twin compared to the versys 650's? I had to get the Rox risers and filled the handlebar with lead bird shot, which helped a lot but it's not v-twin smooth.

And for those wanting to know if you can ride it across the country, just know you can ride anything across the country if you are willing. I rode my DRZ on a 4K mile Look that included California, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, Colorado, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona. It’s all possible.
