Best Motorsport interview I've ever watched. Great 'no ego' interview style from Michael and an enthusiastic, straightforward and convincing dialogue throughout. Makes you want to be part of it :)

Excellent and informative as always with Mann at the helm. I am no sport bike fan but found this very interesting nevertheless perhaps also because the interviewees were so relaxed and knowledgeable and due to the lack of marketing buzz words. One type of question that I was waiting/hoping for was : what exactly constitutes the difference between, for example, the super sport and the super stock calipers/chain? And will these improvements inevitably be transferred to the consumer market over time or are there some things that are simply too specialized/expensive for that? Cheers

Great interview Michael. The new M looks and sounds like it’ll be another huge success for BMW, hopefully they can have abit more success on the track.

Thank you sir. Just like Ducati with V4R, this is BMW’s shot at proper racing competitiveness. And there’ll be plenty of them in BSB this year. Cheers, Michael

Okay, I have the hubris. All I need now is the money to buy it, the skills and opportunity to properly ride it and a body that willingly conforms to the M’s homologation protocols. Wishful thinking aside, that drive chain sounds interesting . . .
i need that M endurance chain on my superduke. i hear it doesnt need lubrication ?

Not strictly true that moto gp is not relevant to road bikes because how many R1 have been sold because "it's just like Rossi's", and suzukis paint even it's 125's to imitate it's moto gp schemes....

Lol B-) when I signed the papers locking mine in here in the US I was sure the wife was gonna take me out and collect the life insurance money! She is not happy with me at all!

Lol that's always a hurdle for many of us. But if you are happy with your purchase, then you're happier overall, and that has a + impact on anyone around you. No need to take out the life insurance. Just use bimmer's potential on track, and not on the road.
