Thank you sharing. Your energy and enthusiasm was heart felt. As a former member of the 100 it is truly amazing to see the band through your eyes and commentary. I remember being awe struck with the 100 as a high school student. You really took me through a time machine, I like I was in high school again. Thanks again. ❤️

Omg I thought I was the only one, I guess because I am. Marching 100 Alumni and I know we have been through a lot in the past years and to see such a comeback and admiration from a different culture of students is AMAZING. I Love how Doc has not LIMITED the MARCHING 100 to not only Black High Schools Battle of the Bands but the All white High School Band Competitions this was a very smart move. I came from CorStyle marching and knew nothing about what HBCU's did. It's a whole different world! HUBBA DOC FALL 96.

I've watched this video over and over again. I feel your excitement each time. It reminds me of the feeling I got, the first time (54 years ago), that I saw the FAMU Marching 100s (The Rattlers) . I've been a fan of this band from that day to this. I was so affected by "The 100", that I moved to Tallahassee, FL as soon as I left home. I wasn't able to attend the university, but use to hang outside of the practice field and all of the home games just to be able to hear them. I've introduced The Marching 100s to my Grandchildren. We march in the house while watching the videos of the band's performances. They all know that I love The 100s and how honored I would be, to have one or all of them as a member of this band. There's something about The 100s, that is so special, not everyone is going to "get it"..based upon your reaction in this video..you do. As you've said they're "simply built different". Thank you for appreciating and sharing your experience with us. May God bless you young man. Signed: FAMU Marching 100s #1 Fan (self-proclaimed)

This just appeared in my timeline today, 12/12/22. RATTLER ALUMNI HERE!!🧡💚 🐍 I don't know where this was filmed at, but it made me proud, yet again, to be a FAMU ALUMNI & to have a school with one of the baddest bands around. The young man filming this had me cracking up with his commentary. I'm so glad he enjoyed the performance & I was hoping he got to see how awesome the band exits the field too. He makes the comment at the end "just built different." I clearly remember when I was at school how HARD those band members would practice, practice, practice for perfection. They would be practicing from when it was dark in the morning until late at night, then have to go to class the next day. I don't see how they did it. Sorry for the rant. I just got hyped watching the video!😉
