I'm not seeing anything in this video that requires an extreme amount of articulation. Ford really seems to pick and choose videos where articulation isn't a concern. BUT, even as you reach the downward travel limits of either IFS or SFA, the solid axle will always provide more traction to the lower tire since a solid axle has leveraging force. I've NEVER seen this discussed on any videos...wonder if it's intentional. 🤔 Regardless, the Bronco is definitely an impressive vehicle and will require Jeep to rethink a few things. I look forward to actually seeing them out on the trail and comparing their performance in person.

They live in fear. Not only of competition, but from the mechanical failures at every turn thanks to the FCA takeover. They have one thing to cling to, the straight front axle, and boy do that love that rough riding, poor handling outdated thing. You would think 99% of Jeep owners are out there crawling boulders, when in reality it's about 2%. We get it, the SFA with the sway bar disconnected articulates more than IFS. You have been saying it every day for six months. If you are a hard core rock crawler, by all means, keep your Jeep, it is better suited for that kind of driving. It is all FEAR. FCA knows the Jeep will be outsold by a wide margin for at least the next few model years. Once the new wears off, and the Bronco quirks are discovered and made public, it will likely level back off in the sales race. Every make has issues. I do not like the Ecoboost, but it will not keep me from buying a Bronco, as I would take it over any FCA engine. If Jeep was not concerned, they wouldn't have announced their plans to shoehorn a V8 in the Wrangler on Bronco reveal day.

Ford should quit promoting them and start actually producing them before they just accomplish nothing more than annoying potential customers.

Holy shit if I can walk over obstacles faster then a bronco can drive over those same obstacles that's pretty sad. It'll take 2 days to do a trail, if these guys are showing how useless a bronco Is then "slam dunk" they did that with flying colors. I'll take a 60's bronco over this shit any day.

This is exactly the sort of arrogance that puts me off ever wanting a Jeep. Like taking my friend’s 2005 Armada up the Wasatch Mountains and some beta male in a stock Jeep Wrangler Sport says “oh I’m surprised you made it up here!” Of course we were the ones cutting down the tree branch so they could get through. I’m sorry but at the end of the day, you have a Fiat. Lol.

Anyone that would take their $40,000+ car or truck off-road to dent, scrape, ruin, etc is dumb. WTF is the point? By no means am I poor but I would never ruin my cars. Get a cheap 4-wheeler if you want to climb rocks or a dirt bike. I just don't understand. The only thing I can guess is people that do this have everything handed to them on a silver platter and just like tearing crap up. I could understand maybe a old jeep, rusted out junk but new vehicles is plain stupid.

Jesse Montano watching videos and actually going out and doing rock crawling is no where near the same thing. There’s off road (mud and trails) then there’s rock crawling which is pretty much making your own trail up mountainous terrain. Trust me Jeep Rubicon was built for this. No other SUV has this level of capability. Not one. This hyped Bronco is no different. It will look good on the road however and has some cool features.

haha, that was funny and accurate. I do like the look of the new Bronco and for overlanding it is probably a great vehicle but it will never be a Jeep with a solid front axle, a lift and disconnects. There is just no way a CV can ever get the articulation that a Jeep can especially with a mid or long arm upgrade.

These Broncos are the testing ones that have been all over the country and have gone on the most extreme trails. The teams have purposely pushed these Broncos to their limits to see exactly how they hold up on the harshest terrain. So yeah, they're going to be pretty beat up lol.

A ti yep, I know. Those were production models of the JLUs. I was just stating that the Broncos shown in these recent videos are still testing models and aren’t production models, and that they’re supposed to be bashing and scraping them. It’s all for testing purposes for the Broncos right now. They’re just letting the public watch because it raises hype for the Broncos

All I see is complete laziness on design and lack of respect towards classic Broncos. This hunk of junk looks like they just took the new Jeep and mixed it with the Toyota TJ...the 4 door version is just the soccer mom version of it..so even worse....glad I bought a Bronco from the 90s...I'll stick to something that looks good..not like it was stolen from other companies because your engineers lack imagination and won't reach out to current Bronco owners.
