I've used all kinds of stuff from low end, high end, JDM, custom stuff, etc... and for spinning rods there is nothing that gets me more excited then picking up my Megabass Addermine. That sucker is literally the best bang for your buck spinning rod in any price range. I wish I had money at the time they were discontinued because I would have bought another new one. It's just that good. It's sad that I just stare at my NRX872, 852and my Expride laying on the deck while I fish with that Addermine. The only other rod I might try if I don't buy an used Addermine might be a Xtasy 753... been pretty happy with the Xtasy 755c as my go to jig rod. However I will be picking up a Megabass P5 X-bites for dock skipping jig rod soon.

Great video, much enjoyed! I like all the Megabass but I'm not a big fan of the size of their guides - I'm happy to give up a little (and that's all it is, a little, for guides that don't necessitate an GF knot!).. I've been hoping you'd do a review on the Daiwa Steez spinning 7'6 ML/M - it's a pretty popular rod.

Nice setups, man! Hey, for the Tatula LTs, are you running the 3000 shallow spools or deep spool? Thinking about ordering a Tatula LT 2500, but was wondering if one of the 3000's would cast better/farther (using for ned rigs, etc). What do you think? Thanks.
@PunchFishing

shallow for sure!
@RP-ud1ce

Casting distance doesn’t change with a shallower spinning reel spool because the spool isn’t rotating. But if you don’t need the capacity, get the shallow one.

Fantastic lineup! Since I am a spinning combo only person, this video was my Nirvana! 😂 I’m heavy on Shimano rods and I do not have any Megabass rods. You have inspired me to consider at least one in my arsenal. I have both Tatula LT‘s and Shimano Vanfords (I just ordered 2 4000’s from #DicksSportingGoods because #OmniaFishing was out of stock 😳). I’m starting to prefer Vanford‘s over the Tatula’s and the Ballistics. Have you tried the Vanford yet?
