Them they got smart and took it off the Accent platform and put it on the Elantra Sport platform with the independent rear suspension! Hiring Albert Bierman was a brilliant idea!!! That man knows how to do performance cars! I bought my wife an Elantra Limited in 2015 before I retired and it has been great! Have only had to do regular maintenance. Never needed that great warranty! New tires, battery, front break pads, wipers and that’s it!! Just past 60,000 miles and all is well! Love my Hyundai! Pugi Hyundai, in Downers Grove, I’ll. Is the e-Diff a physical Helical style diff that's electronically controlled? Or is it like the Fiesta St that's open diff controlled by the ABS system?

Gotta admit, it actually looks a bit better than the old one. But, then again, the old one made the AMC Pacer look pretty cool.

@@landofsyn2980 The new manuals get the new seats too though. I'm curious on resale if it would be higher w/ a DCT in five years because no one will know how to drive manuals, or if a manual would be higher because they are becoming ever more rare and its all about supply and demand. I know with older Corvettes for example the manuals are more in demand than the autos. Hmmm...

I hope you review a Elantra N DCT. I'll be picking one up hopefully. This will be my first automatic, that I have chosen over a manual. I have given in and accepted that I can't shift as fast lol.

Gotta disagree with the heated seat stuff. Regardless of being mostly cloth, the Canadian VN has both heated N Sport seats and a heated steering wheel. Given the recent large price hike of the VN, I would have preferred to see the heated options, even if we have to pay extra for it.

There was no real "large price hike", they just got rid of the lower trim and only offer the performance package now. price increased marginally

Part of me wishes I would have waited for DCT seeing as I got my 2020 in August, but I don't think even a DCT would be enough fun for me. I love driving a manual. The seats and new infotainment wouldn't be enough for me to get a 21 over a 20.

How does the transmission work when in SPORT or N Mode, as far as shifting throughout the rev range? Is it left entirely to the driver to shift at any desired point throughout the range (as if driving a true manual transmission), or does the onboard computer interfere with driver input at certain revs if no input is detected from the driver?

Hey what's happening I've purchase a 2020 Hyundai veloster turbo r spec I've changed out the Mufflers and exhaust tips it's loud enough for me with all the pops gurgling and burbling especially in cold start and I've changed out the spoiler N & I've tested drive the veloster N it's a six speed manual transmission but it a tough call between a six speed manual transmission or a automatic transmission other driver who rather roll through there own gears I rather get a manual transmission instead & thanks for sharing your videos with me 👋👍🙂♥️

Almost every single car in the world has a plastic dashboard. Some are just covered in other materials. They look nice when new, but give it a few years and you will see. There are good quality plastics. I have got a 26 year old Fiat Punto. The dash is plastic but good quality plastic. Not one crack and will never be one. I saw your other video this morning of the other Veloster N. Love these cars. And for me, it has to be manual

just about to order a i30n DCT why do you like the N power shift off? i saw a video and it seems when you have it off or have the transmission in the lowest setting you get DSG FARTS like the gti? but with the N power shift on you dont get them because it does super fast gear changes?
