Nice to see a 2 door as many have mentioned. However, these jls are so over the top with techno bells and whistles it's hard to see them as a Jeep. That instrument cluster rivals a 747, just absolutely ridiculous. For anyone who knows Jeeps ('41 - '06) and has had a CJ, YJ or TJ understands what a Jeep is at its core. It's a short wheel base, narrow and nimble allowing for an excellent turning radius and getting in and out of tight spots off road. Manual crank windows, man locks. Soft top to allow for that quick open air experience. Jeeps were never meant to cocoon its passengers. Doors and top off in the garage from late April to early November is what I do, weather permitting. My '05 TJ Rocky Mtn is rugged, utilitarian, short wheel base, 4.0 I6 bulletproof engine, 3.73's w/ lsd, 2.25" lift on 32" KO2's, Fox Shox & Stabilizer, RockJock/Currie drag link & tie rod steering unit has this ole TJ handling amazing on road and more importantly off road. By far the best vehicle I've had. While I'm not a fan of any Jeep made after '06, I can appreciate those who make the effort and more importantly stick with a 2 door because it's the right move. Sorry but 4 doors are Not Jeeps. They are just goofy, fugly soccer mom mobiles meant for Trail•Recon Brad types who packs more things than 3 women, just absolutely ridiculous and highly unnecessary. Anyway, I follow the Jeep wave protocol, I wave first to any Jeep older than my '05 TJ Rocky Mtn and wait for anything made after '05 to give me the wave first. I'll always wave back, even to a goofy 4 dr which is tough for me to do, but I do, it's just common courtesy. Be well Jeepers! O|||||||O 🇺🇸Only in a 2 Dr🇺🇸 '41 - '06
@BrosFOURRSpeed
2 жыл бұрын
What's a 747? A 4 door is still a jeep! Just depends on what you need it for! The 2 door is cool, but too small for me as I bought a 4 door because I needed the space. Both will perform almost the same offroad, the shorter wheel base will be better in certain situations and the 4 door will be better in others! To me the 2 doors are goofy because there isn't a lot of space, so if it's your only vehicle, it's almost not practical, but everyone has a need and a want, doesn't make one better than the other. That's why there are options depending on what you want and desire, they are all jeeps!
@JeepTJWheelin

@@BrosFOURRSpeed A 747 is 🛫 a large plane. The 2 doors are goofy?? Wow, This is when I know immediately to consider the source. Do you even know what a Jeep is, its history, its origin? Obviously not, they helped America win WWII. The Bantam and MB Willys, etc. You're young and maybe one day someone will impart a bit of Jeep knowledge. Anyway, have a good day.
@BrosFOURRSpeed
2 жыл бұрын
I didn't know if you were talking about a certain model with the 747, didn't realize you were comparing a car to a plane...It's not even on the same level as an airplane lol...Obviously the Jeep started off as a 2 door yes, but the 4 doors outsell the 2 doors all day because of the practicality of them. It's just a materialistic item and whatever works better for you is the model to get. My age has nothing to do with this topic either, clearly you don't like the 4 doors and that's fine, that's why a 2 door is available.
@JeepTJWheelin
2 жыл бұрын
@@BrosFOURRSpeed The car to plane reference gives you or "at least should give you" an idea of how ridiculous all that cluster nonsense is so unnecessary. But that went over your head. Not surprised. Jeep ended in '06! '07 - present ushered in the pansy heeps geared for coddled people who's attention span is that of a gold fish. Mark Allen pretty much single handily ruined Jeep. Jeeps aren't long wheel based, don't have 4 freakin doors, don't have all the bells and whistles of an escalade. It is Jeep IN NAME ONLY. From '07 - present it is now Heep. And to your claim which is true that the 4 dr outsells the 2 dr speaks to this pansy generation perfectly! And this is because Heep makes half the amount of 2 doors as they do 4 doors. They pussified Jeep which is why they are now heeps. Are you following Skippy? 😒 These are not jeepers by any stretch of the imagination. These are prius minded people who heep carefully cultivated into getting this soft demographic to buy their "luxury" heeps. And pansies the world over flocked to them like a moth to a flame. A sad state of affairs indeed. I cringe each time I see a 4 dr. Like spotting an obese woman on the beach in a speedo, I have to look away quickly. 😝 We're in the age of obsolescence, where nothing is built to last. Those engine shrouds you see under hood are engine grave blankets, meaning it's going to die sooner than later. You will be offended by this because little Johnny needed a comeuppance, an education. Sorry to have rattled your cage, but you needed it! Good day.

@@scootypuffjr. Yeah i think you might have missed the point of my comment. You’re paying an extra 11k for this with the same features as a base model.

They offer the Wrangler in a manual if you are interested. This was the only two door on the lot lol, so I still wanted to check it out!

Just how they did it for the JL Wrangler. Aftermarket fenders have the led kit too tho. So it is transferable. More expensive then the JK was tho
