Hello from Greece, I would like to buy a Keeway E-ZI Mini, do you use it for uphills at least 20%? If yes how is it going and with how much weight on around? If not what do you think about uphill of this size from your experience? Thanks a lot!!👍

NIce quick review, looks a simple easy to store Urban bike I assume you can ride this on grandad moped rights without a cbt? Can the rear pillion seat be removed and a top box fitted? How much is a 2nd battery?

Hi Charles, You can indeed cash in your grandad moped rights. Yes the rear seat can be removed and keeway have a specific top box for the scooter although stock is still on it's way to us of them. Not sure on the battery price just yet as still waiting for the info to come through. If you have any more questions please contact me. Chris

What speed does it do on eco mode and what realistic range has it got at high speed?
@johnmarr9783
Жыл бұрын
15mph on eco, 28mph on 'full power'... Realistic range if you're wanting to travel at the full speed is around 20 miles

Any idea, how to activate/deactivate the limiter?
@mcobikes

There are two power modes. Full power soon gets you to 30mph. This is simply a toggle button that goes Park/Eco/Full. It won’t go any quicker than 30mph

I was seriously looking at this to save on petrol for commuting (15 miles round trip)... The CHEAPEST insurance I could get (on a few comparison sites) was well over £500 - that was even going third party only and taking a voluntary excess of £500 on top of the £500 compulsory one!!!.... Guess I might just have to cycle and take an old towel to wipe off the sweat (no shower at work!) 😕

Since my last comment I researched further and thanks to Bikesure (can't recommend them highly enough!) I managed to get an insurance package for just over £100 - the highest quote using the same criteria was just over £1000!!! Bought the Keeway and it's a hoot - once you get your head round the 28mph restricted top speed it's perfect cheap transport - I commute 7 miles each way and when I get back home, I've got 20-30% battery power left. If you have more than 10 miles to travel each way, you're going to need to be recharging the battery at work..

That’s the limit limit, doesn’t mean you have to ride/drive at 60mph! You can ride a pedal bike on A roads and dual carriageways for that matter (and I regularly do 😁)

do you need to pay insurance if not am coming to pick one up !
@mcobikes

You still need insurance as you are riding a registered vehicle on a public highway. It would be foolish not to have insurance for numerous reasons. It’s simple, just think it’s like owning a petrol vehicle with all the same rules but you don’t pay road tax and you don’t buy fuel.

@@serendipity923 No you don't need insurance to pick one up because you can walk with it and can take it on a train if you need the train to get home that is!
