Totally cool. I spent MANY days with the grandparents growing up, and my Grandpa on my fathers side had a 32 Ford "bug" to plow the drive way.Big tractor tires, box of rocks where the trunk should be.

I remember watching doodle bug pulls when I was a kid in 1980-82 before we moved to Vermont.

I have never seen pulling like this before! Usually its a game of HP, traction and keeping your wheel speed UP, this is a whole new game!

Great video! I'd like to see more of the "mechanics" involved in building one of these trucks. It's a lot of fun to watch, especially when the chains get tight like guitar strings. But the engine, transmission and final drive would be great to see too. I thought I heard a few flathead sixes.

It's pretty awesome to see some of those older rigs pulling that kind of weight. I had no idea that chain drives could take that kind of punishment without totally shittin the bed .
