Unfortunately, the Avalon will be discontinued after 2022. 😥 So therefore, it doesn't have long to live. Nearly everyone wants SUV's and crossovers. However, if you wait until the end of the 2022 model year, you may be able to get one at a deep discount. Dealers will be happy to sell those Avalons to make room on their lots for the Highlanders, RAV4's, and the like. (9/16/2021)

Great review buddy and you touched on a lot of key points. I purchased the 2021 touring model a couple months ago and I love it! The front definitely is love it or hate it. Obviously I love it! It looks like it is about to eat everything in it's path. With 301hp it tears up the road good enough to make you feel you aren't in just a cruiser. The space is great as I'm 6'3 with taller kids. Jbl sound system is unbelievable. Adding the tint on my midnight blue color makes it even cooler 😎 With Toyota safety features and reliability you really can't go wrong. It's the closest to having a Lexus but you get more bells and whistles then the entry lexus ES, plus less maintenance costs 😉 Great job!

How long have you worked for Toyota? I don’t buy the cabin noise comment. I have a Avalon Limited, very noisy. Next time I’ll try out the 2022 Avalon and test each one, after rating them perhaps I’ll document results back at cha. Question: Have the Avalon’s ever had electronic noise suppression? If not, why not! In addition, I’d like to trade in my Michelin low and wide rims and get the standard Avalon regular tires. Perhaps the low level tires an wide rims are part of the problem. Any thoughts on making the cabin much quieter. Making the trek from New Hampshire to Florida would be more relaxing. I know other car companies have that option on there more expensive models. Maybe, just maybe one day the Avalon may as well.

While a top-spec Accord Touring is a good car, it simply can't match the Avalon's more substantial feel. Also, the Accord is simply not available with V6 engine or AWD. While more expensive, the Avalon is a better value with stronger predicted reliability than the Accord.

@@DriversOnly if you ever run out of cars to review would it be possible for you to review the “forgotten Camry”. The 2021 Toyota Camry XLE V6. I’d love to know the characteristics of the drive(comfort tuned suspension) and the performance(100 pounds less than Avalon nightshade). It’s also better equipped for 1-2k less. You could also just wait for the 2022’s when they come out. Not all of us want a sport tuned suspension

I bought this car brand new. Nothing but issues since I bought it. I always drive Fords. This will teach me!!! All the dash lights have been coming on sporadically since I bought it. My dash lights light up like a Christmas tree. I’ve taken it into the dealership 25 times at least and they tell me I drive with 2 feet making all the lights come on, which is a total line of BS to try to point the finger at me. Not happy with a 50k car!! Thank God I bought 5 year warranty!!!! Crap!!!!!!

Naw I have a 2021 touring model and this has plenty of room! Did I say plenty? I'm 6'3 and my son's are 64 and 5'9 and still growing. I don't have to even move my seat up at all for them. They are comfortable in the back. In fact when I drive I don't even have it all the way back as it is too far for even me lol. Had it for 2 months and love it!

@@MrIcecapone It is not the leg distance room. It is Toyota continues to make the center console so wide, someone could fit a refrigerator in there. The console takes up and knee space. When you allow a 5 foot tall Asian that weights 100 pounds to be the designer.
