One difference I noticed on ordering mine. The Recharge doesn't have the Parking assist where the car would reverse or parallel park for you, but this is available on the T5. A feature that may hardly be used, but a feature that you pay for as part of a package, but don't receive yet.

I have ordered a red P8. Now that said, I am abit disappointed on the range. It should manage more of range than it does. Also the price is just mental. But still the fastest Volvo massproduced...

Just sharing my thoughts. I would love to go Recharge with the tax credit but my only hesitation is lack of chargers between my hometown and Dallas. If Volvo was on another charging network, I'd feel better about it. May have to wait another couple of years for charging infrastructure to catch up out here in West Texas.

@@AdamJakowenko yeah honestly for me it's not so much the range. I think the range would be fine IF the infrastructure was there for me to go to Dallas. Right now only Tesla or Electrify America have chargers that would work for that route. For everyday use back and forth to work no prob. With the 7500 rebate, I think the price makes sense. Without that, way too high. I may just lease for a few years until tech catches up. Don't think I'd buy electric just yet.

I still think the XC40 is such a unique option in the class. I'll probably end up leasing a gas model.

Be 130 miles range if your reason for buying was enjoying the performance. Plus I don’t think the charging infrastructure will be in place for another 3-5 years. The trouble will come as electric vehicle take up increases, you finally find a public charger and can’t find the owner of the car that’s just finished charging, because he’s having lunch in the restaurant. Otherwise nice car.

Wasn’t thinking about the price till it was brought up, but considering, I guess the electric would be more expensive than the gas-operated, not only due to their source of power but also their features. P.S. Why are stadiums so hot? Because they have no fans. LOL.

Not everyone drives long distance regularly, but if you do, then I agree. For me, I hardly do long distance so I have already ordered one.
