My mom went to one of his concerts in 1997. She told me that she had never been to a concert as energetic and incredible as Garth’s.

My son Shawn died of a brain aneurysm at age 32 in 1999. He loved Garth Brooks . At his Funeral 2 of his friends sang The Dance . It was Shawn's favorite song.

Gone but not forgotten. Shawn had good taste. Hopefully Garth’s music brings you comfort.

He definitely took some notice to the response Freddie Mercury got from the crowd because he interacted with them and made them a big part of concerts. 😊

Sad this mofo can't accept his music is a banger to the world. The publishers have ruined garth. he shouls beout there all over the place. Publishing rights are garbage this day in age. I thought lars from metallica was bad for downloading music. modren day garth's company still wont allow it. Props for what seems similar to the real version

He owns his own record label. Pearl Records. He calls the shots, he is his own publisher. He chose to be exclusive to Amazon Music cause they were the only ones who agreed to do it his way. He has never liked a very critical thing about other streaming services like Apple and Spotify - They don’t allow artists to control the release of their albums. Artists don’t get a say regarding if it will be available as individual tracks or only available as an entire album. By forcing his music to be sold as full albums OR by purchasing an Amazon Music subscription, he ensures that all the songwriters who helped make those songs get their fair due. When people get to pick and choose, deep cuts/album cuts are typically left on the floor which then means those songwriters don’t get paid, he hates that to no end. Being a songwriter from the beginning and providing songs to other people, he has the highest respect for all those who have contributed to his success, so he laid it out where they get more than fair compensation for their work.

@@nateward9592 Okay, so first of all musicians should get their fair share to an extent. I still think if the artist is proud of their work they should be happy its out there. If Garth truely owns the publishing rights and hasn't posted the songs/videos on a youtube channel he's a butt head with a side of greddy. I've tried finding his songs on youtube for over a decade and they're hard to find. Make your official channel and monetize it, show off your library of amazing music. It seems like the current option is buy the songs 1 by 1 to straight $ So many people are missing out on great Garth songs by there not being an official channel. Just seems greedy imo
