Consider a wallet from Ridge. I’ve used one for a couple of years, just has some surface scratches. Two thin pieces of metal and some elastic. A clip for bills, RFID blocker. It’s less than 1/2 the size of the dead cow product you have in all dimensions

We talked about the “clicking” noise over on IG, that one is still got me puzzles. The only thing I can think of is the connector 🤷♂️ I use the ALIAS clip on the weapon side of the holster because it helps in concealment. It’s kinda complicated to explain but it works for me.

Haha, I probably would. Well… I’m right handed so my right leg is going to be stronger. Generally that would mean I would walk in a counterclockwise circle 🔄 Since my wallet is on my right side then that may actually balance out my stride and allow me to walk straight… 🤔 Haha, I don’t know man 🤦♂️😂

Why do you carry with a weapon light?? It's a felony to be pointing a gun around identifying things. You have to already identify a life endangering threat before you draw.
@downingindustries
Жыл бұрын
I’m assuming you’re his is a serious question 🤔 We currently don’t have the technology to see in the dark without the aid of some source of illumination so I need to carry some sort of illumination… Additionally, a light adds weight to the front of the firearm and that aids in recoil management.
@whatsup24_7

Let’s try it another way… Why do you think I have a light on my carry pistol? I’m serious, let’s talk this out.
@whatsup24_7
Жыл бұрын
@@downingindustries absolutely i like to ask people why they carry a light on their concealed carry pistol. Typically I give them reasons why they're unnecessary and they usually just get mad and resort to trash talking me because what I say makes sense and they don't have a logical response. I don't know what the reason you use them that's why I asked. I don't like to speculate. I know many people do it to feel like they are a cop or feel cool. Not saying that's you, but others just act that way. Police need them because they pursue armed criminals and have their lights on to find them. But for self defense of a civilian everywhere you're at has enough ambient light to determine if your life is being threatened. And if you can see enough to determine that then you can seen enough to put rounds on target. For home defense I can see the benefit for having a light. But not concealed carry put in public.
@downingindustries
Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the civil response. If you watch the video and take into account the other things that I carry then you’d see that I carry a handheld light. That handheld light is what I would use to “look around” and find things or identify potential harm. Most of the time (according to most statistics and such) self defense shootings occurs at very close distances where a light wouldn’t be necessary. Also, most people will go through their whole lives without ever needing to use a firearm for self defense, yet many choose to carry a firearm anyway. I carry a weapon mounted light for the fraction of a chance that I will need to utilize the light during life threatening incident. Obviously I would not pull out a weapon mounted light to search for dropped keys or to simply look around. As you mentioned, pulling out a firearm in a situation is exercising lethal force, so there already has to be a “clear and present danger” for me to even bring the gun I to the equation. I mentioned earlier that a light adds weight to the front of a firearm and how that aids in recoil management. This is reason enough for me to carry with a light attached. I’m not sure how/if you carry but added length and weight below the belt actually helps me conceal the firearm and carry more comfortably. This may not be the case for everyone but it’s the case for me. So in short… I find a light useful in concealing the firearm, aiding in recoil management, and if the off chance that I would need to illuminate an area during a “violent encounter”. I hope that info helps.
