Nice haul. Love the Dell books. Glanzman's work in those books is underappreciated.

Awesome video. Are you gonna be coming to this year's Baltimore Comic Con? If so, look for me at the Kids Love Comics section, table K5.

Thank you. I certainly will. It will be a pleasure to meet you. BTW, I've been following John Gallagher and Steve Conley for years. I always try to stop by. It's a great event for the kids. I will be there on Friday, volunteering there most of Saturday and taking my nephew on Sunday. It will be a fun weekend. Thanks again for stopping by and commenting. It means a lot. Take care and stay well. Best/Steve

Hi steve. Love your califiore commish! Glad you had a good time at your show. I love your passion for collecting. I saw you on 4 color fossils w alot of your new stuff. Im sorry the hobby has such vain, money driven, popularity seeking ppl. Lets try and shut those bozos out. They're hipsters and want to prove they can prosper and gain attention. We never cared about them. They can flip their brains out. Theyll move on. This too will pass. Try to ignore them. I dont watch spec channels. When the movie money runs dry itll be fine. Dont let negative unhappy ppl get to you. Keep being happy and enjoying your reads and time

I'm glad to see a new video from you, Steve. You came away with some great finds! I like your enthusiasm, and if you ramble I don't mind. I have a feeling that if you and I met in person we could have a great rambling conversation about our hobby. I'm curious. Where did you get that Blackhawk mug? I love it! Did you get at a con, or one the stores that you frequent? I'm looking forward to your next video.

😎There's a difference Steve between being a narcissist with a video camera and being a nostalgist with one. Hopefully one day you can take us on a video tag along with you to one of the cons so we can share the gleam of gazing at all the goodness in those dealer boxes🤗! Love Tales To Astonish , enjoyed the Giant Man / Wasp adventures that shared the book with my #1 Marvel hero The Hulk and then when Namor my #2 favorite hero double billed.in the title I was completely ecstatic! Now that Namor is in the MCU I'm hoping for the possibility of a Tales To Astonish TV Special Presentation comparable to WereWolf By Night to see Hulk and Namor together. Love those animation based books Milton and Fearless Fly is definitely a cartoon I remember well. I have two of those Gold Key cardboard cover books one is a Huckleberry Hound and the other is a Hannah Barbera Band Wagon featuring stories starring different characters. That Joe Shuster cover is sweet , 😄the covers do give one an OTR vibe : Gangbusters , Calling All Cars , The Lineup and of course Dragnet. Matt Baker also did artwork for the Lassie comic book. The popularity of comic strip characters like Smilin'Jack back in the day was phenomenal that there is probably memorabilia out there in the wild that would surprise us. Great Skyman commish , love the character myself. Been reading his adventures on Comic Book Plus. Mort Todd of Charlton Comics has been putting out collections of Golden Age characters and genre anthologies and he has one featuring the postwar Skyman in Outer Space serialized adventure where Skyman fights Hitler on the moon. Ogden Whitney's art is just amazing.

There were some great artists and writers selling self-published comics and the convention. Darin Henry, the publisher of Sitcomics, was there selling some of the comics he wrote and published, including The Blue Baron, which is pencilled by Ron Frenz and inked by Sal Buscema. It’s just like the great comics that were being published during the Bronze Age. There was also a self-published comic book called Lovecraft P.I. being sold by its writer. Just by the name of it, I knew I had to have it. Not sure if you’ve read it, but it is definitely something that you’d like.

I agree with you about artists charging for autographs. Mike Grell was charging 20 dollars per autograph, and he had the audacity to have a donation jar in addition to that. When I met Don Rosa at the convention, he said “Don’t ever pay someone for an autograph. That is an insult to you.”
