I just bought one today & I can say that it drastically makes bumpy roads smoother compared to an older car. I live currently off a un maintained dirt road & it's usually a really awful noisy bumpy ride but in this it was DRASTICALLY smoother & quiter.

I bought my 22 RS model a week ago and I'm in LOVE with it. I had a look at the Toyota C-HRs (overpriced and will be discontinued in favor of a Hybrid version), and the Subaru Crosstreks(transmission issues among other issues), and when the Chevy Trailblazer has amazing reviews, reliability, great price; it's hard not to take a long look at it. Mine is all black with just the RS red trim and it's SICK to look at! I drove a new Equinox and in no way did it jazz my heart like the Trailblazer did, but I'm also not a fan of big butts on small SUVs. Drove the Encores, different years, different versions, and found it no way near as sporty. On a side note, I really hope this guy isn't a salesman because...telling a customer that there are "cheap" things in the cabin of this car is a real bad selling point. And, as others have pointed out, he didn't know the actual size of the engine, so I take it with a grain of salt when he says "it's sounds louder than it should" when he's talking about the power in this vehicle. This little baby gets up and GOES! Even without that extra turbo button on. The steering wheel and brakes are EXTREMELY sensitive, especially if you are used to driving an older vehicle. I've literally driven down bump roads with one finger on the steering wheel....it's responsive...trust me. P.S. on average, not everyone is 6ft tall, and comfort is relative...there are living examples of that when you look at the common Ford Festiva owners...think about that maybe for your next review. Big take away---do your own research and buy what's best for you. This SUV is perfect for my needs but most certainly won't be for everyone.

So true. I’m a short guy and I love this car. The only 2 downsides for me is the ride quality. Not terrible but not the smoothest riding car. And laggy gear shift. But the ride quality is the main thing.

Great review! I really think chevy did a great job on this. Best selling point to me are the price, infotainment's responsiveness, friendly use of the buttons, and definitely the looks. A missed opportunity was the tailgate, they could've make this a split rear tailgate specially as a Truck manufacturing company.

Thanks, an honest review. I have a black and white RS (CVT) that I picked up in April. 11k so far, no issues. Great Korean build quality, good tech as you noted. Attractive looking car and the CVT works well. Brakes reminded me of my old BMW very good. Worth noting that the IIHS recently gave the Tblazer one of its coveted "best picks" for safety.

2022 has a heated wheel now? Very awesome as I live in Canada and it gets mind numbing cold in the winter. It’s the one thing that I was po’d about because the encore gs has one but wasn’t available last year. Thanks for the reviews (btw there should be floor vents for backseat under the front seats-most gm’s have had them for years- but they are mainly helpful for heat and also, the passenger seat folds forward for long items)

Nice car with one major flaw. Why did Chevrolet NOT include GPS based independent NAV with the 8" Technology upgrade, like the do in the Buick twin? Sure, you can set NAV with Apple CarPlay, but that is cellular based - lose cellular, lose NAV. I have been in remote areas where have lost cellular, and certainly wouldn't want to lose NAV in the middle of nowhere!

Just a bone head thing to do. I have a cruze and ran into the same situation, same with my gf and her equinoux. Im thinking "all these features and no GPS?".... and 6-7 years later still none. Ive actually lost service (and so has she) given our little than normal distance, in the middle of no where.

I was so excited when I first read of the comeback Trailblazer ! When I dropped by the local lot to take a look (Sunday - dealer closed) I was ready to buy when I took a first look ! Then I read the window sticker 😞. Please tell me how an "American" badge can now be placed on a vehicle that is 97% built by foreign hands ? (Probably Hyundai-Korea). I am old fashioned I guess. I only drive American automobiles. I know that my current 2018 Cruze RS is not 100% built here but , it is way more than 3% US/Canadian parts ! GM is dropping the ball on "Keep America Working" ! Thoughts ?

So I have a question about the fold flat back seats. I have a 2019 trax and I'm thinking about adding one of these to my family and replacing our older malibu. One of my big issues with the trax is that you have to have the front seats up so far to lay the back seat flat that it makes the vehicle literally undrivable when you're over 6ft like I am. Does the Trailblazer have the same issue?

It slows acceleration and decreases torque. Basically makes it less responsive so you don't spin the tires. Like starting from a stop in a higher gear

The Chevy Trailblazer (crossovers) is currently being built and manufactured in Incheon, South Korea, and Shanghai, China, 97% of the vehicle !! With only 3% US/Canadian product !
