It's not just the comics that holds my fascination, but it's your unabashed passion for things from my childhood. Every one of your videos is a trip back in time to a simpler and happier period in my life. Allen, you are so much more than someone sharing their collection, you are a sincere patron of the past - your love for these things that we cherish is honest and real. So too your memories and stories from those days. Thank you Allen for bringing these simple joys to life for us.

Greetings Allen! I NEVER tire of seeing these room tours..There's always something I'd not seen before or missed in the other videos. My love of all comic related things aside, of special interest to me were the Peanuts and Man from from U.N.C.L.E. lunchboxes, the Monkees trading card packs, and yes, the 45 rpm yellow record inserts! 😁 Those of us in the know realize that you are NOT showing off but sharing a wonderful time from our childhoods..So you can "show off" anytime you please 😉 Great video brother!

Wow! Wonderful collection. As mentioned by Roger (Metarog) I lost everything in a fire years back and it seriously depressed me. But of course after toys I got back into comics eventually. I'll never have what I had but love to look and admire. Everthing I have now is newer. Except for a beautiful gift from MANCAVE comics. A graded 1943 Camptain Midnight and a raw 2nd appearance of ghost rider. Those mean the world to me. Thank you for sharing your collection. It's not showing off, it's sharing. Many things you show I've never even seen before so Thank you!👍👍

Hopefully post pandemic. My job is good and steadily going on. But the post pandemic has SLOWLY opened up small conventions and some comic book places. Where I work, have done tons of overtime SO I DON'T HAVE TIME to go and do comic book shopping. WHICH IS WHY videos and channels like ALL OF YOU and others is Important to me. I can see others buy comics and "dream". I can still enjoy the hobbie by watching videos of others comic book rooms and "pick ups". Thank you sir for your TIME that you put into this AND SHARED with us. I don't have enough for a room...yet. But one day.... I think THIS YEAR will be the best year in about the last 3. Amazing room, incredible collections, and super cool experience. Just wow, pow, and ka-pow! Loved the way you decorated short/long comic boxes. When first time enrolled in to USA schools, kids were carrying cool lunch boxes. I didn't even know what to call them to ask my parents for them. Besides, I ate free lunch from the schools. I first wondered why they brought their own cold lunch when school provided hot meals. I never knew school lunch tasted bad until I start cooking my own 'American' food. Oh, by the time, I could afford to get my own cool lunch boxes none of my fellow high school students carried lunch boxes. :(

@@aftacomics5865 I am approaching my 40s but I have been collecting since I was in third grade because my science teacher was married to a comic shop owner. She would bring boxes of comics that went unsold, stored them in the back of the classroom, and they were ours to look through- it was great! (And a distraction too) My experience with comic cons was with Larry Charet, a comic store owner who brought cons into the Chicagoland area in 1976. Today, Larry still has a booth at Wizard World where I would see comics laid out in this fashion. Then I befriended Captainstrangelife and learned a ton more about conventions!
