Anyone can still do their old voices in these days. Take a look at some of those old Disney/Cartoon Network/Nickelodeon cartoon voice actors/actresses. And as a voice impressionist myself, I can still be able to do voices that I was able to do back in my young days (currently 24 years old).

I love that they did this. Looking back at the site's history, Homestarloween Party was probably the most revolutionary moment they ever had. It was the first cartoon that fully established the dynamics between all of the characters, and their reason for existing. They were no longer just fodder for kids' book plotlines or good guys vs. bad guys stories; they were just a bunch of characters that lived in the same universe and had funny interactions with one another. That's kind of the spirit that's kept them alive ever since.
@ThomasJohnBourne
Жыл бұрын
Very true. Looking at all the 2000 toons, Homestarloween is…the best by far. It did so much. Marshmallow’s Last Stand and Jumping Jacks, and even Radish are all the kid’s book formula, while KoT and Yello Dello are…uh…not that. But they at least made fun of those pretty quickly with the DVD updates and commentaries a year or two later. But yeah this one really set them on track. And 2001 was magic. The Luau, the first 7 SBemails, A Jorb Well Done, The House that Gave Sucky Treats and the best D’Ween Ever, which is probably the best thing they’d done up to that point as well. It was such an insane upward trajectory those first two years. And then Where’s the Cheat and Brianrietta really established the rhythms for the next 20 years. It’s crazy how resurgent Homestar seems these last two years. They put the freakin’ DVDs back in print! Haha

The whole concept of “DLC” for their first Halloween cartoon was amazing, and the fact that every year the Brothers Chaps put out a high quality nugget of “blast from the past” is the highlight of fall.
