I think it would as it supports ATX PSU.

Good video. Completely agree about RGB. Your computer, like mine, is a tool to do a job so why have a RGB display!

Hi i just build a similar case , but with a dark rock pro 4 cpu cooler (my gpu was too long for the a radiator in the front). But still the thermals are not the best i say. I have Gpu ~50°C and 40°C CPU with no Load. Is it the same for you? (i have a rtx 3060ti from gigabyte and x5600 ryzen) Best regards!

Some GPUs have 0 fan mode. You may get a bit higher Temps if that is happening. Mine is at 35.

This is a Fractal Design Define 7 Mini right? Not a Nano as a Nano only has the 3 gpu slots

Hello Kim, firstly thanks for your video. One simple question: My wife sometimes complaining to me due to so much fan noise with my pretty bad omen 25L case and bad thermals. Now thinking to change it with fractal. Did you notice significant difference for sound dampening performance point of view ?

My machine is really silent. But that is because of its panels and the near silent CPU cooler. So, consider that too :)

I did the same thing. All black inside a lancool 2 performance and a MSI Unify MB. I couldn't see the components without a flashlight. Started with a Noctua air cooler and I have switched to a top mounted AIO.

Top AIO is a very good choice. If I wasn't mounting under the desk I would do that too.

Do you think this desktop is sufficient for doing large scale rhino model?
@JosephKim
Жыл бұрын
I have not worked on Rhino for a long time and was never really a large model. I'd think it is CPU based work and recent i7 should be enough.

Hi Joseph! Could you post your temps idle and under heavy gaming load? Thank you for the great vid and thanks in advance if you could post those temps . Also - does the GPU get noisy? You mention in above comments that having liquid cooling on the CPU certainly helps with the noise but I'm curious whether the GPU itself gets loud under load and if it's a particular brand of 3070ti you're using?
@JosephKim
Жыл бұрын
Hi Rob, I don't have heavy load games, so I can't really test it. But CPU Temps are 30 degree in idle and GPU is 55. On some heavier load it may reach 75 degree in GPU and near 70 for CPU. Generally kept really cool and silent. My GPU is founders edition. It does get louder during load, but isn't really something unbearable.

Hi Joseph, awesome video! I am interested in making a similar build for my job and was searching for the NVIDIA graphics card you used here, but wasn’t able to find any available buying options. Do you know if the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 12GB GDDR6 will be able to handle work in Revit and some light rendering in Enscape? Thanks for your time!
@JosephKim
Жыл бұрын
Hm, I thought I had quoted. It is RTX 3070 Ti. Your RTX 3060 would be one tier less than that one. I'd say 3060 will be fine for light renderings.
