I have said it before,I am 65 and been riding since 5 years old, and Rob teaches you proper way to ride! I always learn a lot from Rob every time. Just because you have been riding a long time doesn’t mean you know it all! Thanks Rob for all you do! I did noticed that you weren’t wearing your helmet. Mr.Simmons , I just wanted to inform you of my latest adventures . Today in upstate NY it was a beautiful 55 degrees outside . I took my bike out for a spin . It was my first time riding on a motorcycle . A 2003 Yamaha vstar 650cc black and chrome ! Long story short , I incorporated your lessons into my practice riding today . I kept power to the back wheel anytime I felt as though I'd lose control during low speen turns , as well as trust and believe techniques ! Picking my feet up while preloaded and then taking off . My brother said " what are you doing that for ?" I explained what you have taught us and that I'll benefit from it in becoming the boss of my motorcycle ! Thanks for the videos and being in my ear today while out . Take care sir .

P.s I put on my big boy pants and refused to duck walk my bike between cars in the drive way . Instead i kept it loaded and kept the clutch in the sweet spot through the cars and into my garage . It felt great ! Haha . Ty .

Fantastic video Robert.. the camaraderie with fellow preloaders you have never met before, the ride thru bike week vendors (exercise 2), the Loop, Flagler beach area... all just fantastic.. I like the fact that you show your trailer and truck before you leave. A pre-trip inspection is important (tire condition, lights, hitch, etc.) It is often neglected or overlooked by folks who pull a trailer. Many years ago, I drove big trucks for a living and you are required to do a daily pre-trip inspection for safety purposes.

It's almost criminal to cover your bikes, even while they're all alone in your trailer. Seems to me a better idea would be to put some cushioning covers on the walls, so that the bikes are protected when you start moving them in or out. Not only that, but the inside of the trailer would look pretty sweet with something soft and squishy on the walls. 😉👍

Always amazes me when I watch harley riders, to see the lack of safety gear. They always try to wear either nothing or very little protection. They seem to have the most faith in other people's ability to avoid them 🤣 I mean you can be the Boss of your ride forsure, but ya not the boss of anything else on the road period! Remember kids shit happens without warning all the time to the best of riders, so ya really need to not worry about looking cool so much as looking like a fool laid out on the road. Do it for your loved ones, not your bro runs!
