Correct me if im wrong, but wasnt the entire album of The Doors Paris Blues recovered? Or was it just the main title track that was found and the album was available before the found track? Because I only listened to the whole album for the first time when it was uploaded last year. Have never even heard of the album before the upload. Also it's important history from one of the most prolific timeless bands, should be higher tier honestly. As for blues fans most certainly needs to be higher. Some people even prefer the album above others. It really shows the length of skill the band members have. Listening to it you can see where the blues influences are injected into their most prolific songs.

This is so awesome i really hope we find more "mythical" lost black and white movies made before the digital era

As one of last year's biggest Lost Media finds, the Toonmakers Sailor Moon pilot is such a fascinating oddity and what-if, since the evergrowing anime culture in North America during the 90s could've been quite different if it was made into a proper series. On top of North American kids (and maybe even South American too) experiencing a completely different version of a beloved classic, we could've also had many more Americanized remakes of various 80s / 90s anime instead of regular dubs of the original shows, something that doesn't sound too unlikely since it was also discovered that many other Toei anime were also being planned to have American adaptations. And regardless of the quality that those remakes might have had, many could've easily wondered why we just didn't get the proper original shows.

SO TRUE SO TRUE SO TRUE !!! context for people that don't know: for jackass number two, bam margera's uncle vincent margera (known as don vito) was the star of multiple stunts, the most well known being a stunt titled 'lamborghini tooth pull' which is... exactly what it sounds like. but, only about a month before the theatrical release of jackass number two, don vito was arrested on suspicion of child sexual assault. all of his appearances were removed, as well as his alleged appearances in jackass 2.5. the lamborghini tooth pull stunt was re-filmed with ehren mcghehey and was instead featured in jackass 3D. don vito's jackass number two and jackass 2.5 appearances have NEVER been seen outside of some previews shown leading up to the film's release.

Hi Lost Media Mike. As the person who had obtained the versions of Leave It found in 2022, I just want to say that it was great seeing Yes' Leave It and its music videos make it into your video and tier list. And while I disagree with their ranking, I do agree that it's all subjective and doesn't necessarily matter as long as they're found. However, I have to point out a thing that was wrong about your short segment to it. Specifically you saying that there are 11 versions to these videos. There aren't. There is 18 versions all together. Ironically the version you showed was version 11, which is the only version Yes seems to acknowledge these days. For context since I did an entire video on this, they showed all these versions on MTV for a contest to spot the differences. Which could only have been fifteen shown but that's unknown. After the contest, they only showed version 11 onward and has since been declared the official video. After last year, there is currently six versions of Leave It accounted for. Meaning two thirds of this series of videos are still lost. There is still a long ways to go. Anyway, I would also like to suggest you make a video on Lost Music Videos. There is plenty of them lost to time as of this writing. Thanks for your time.

So she sits down on her side of the bed and sighs and sneaks a packet of painkillers out from her bedside table drawer, pulls out the tray. Her husband says grumpily "did I hear a tablet tray?" she shrinks as he pulls back his hand, and it fades to black as she screams a bone-chilling scream...

Finally. The term "Hoarded Media" has been adopted by the Lost Media YT-ers. That said, I really can't blame Sesame Workshop for most of the series being unavailable for decades. While they have their own reasons for why The Wicked Witch and Snuffy's Parents get a Divorce weren't released to the adult Sesame Fan/Collector, the reasons a lot of these just haven't seen the light of day is pretty obvious. It's a show that's been on the air for over 50 years with thousands of episodes and skits to sift through. I can't assume they don't have anyone working just on the archives, and I have a feeling they probably digitized everything, but it's the hard working tape traders and early YT accounts posting whatever they could that's the most immediate way to access things. Luckily, some of those fans are still active and some have mined some of the older episodes before HBO MAX purged them. Other than that, I wish Sesame Street would go back to posting older material on their own instead of just trying to compete with the BAD kid's YT channels and just posting current episodes and dialogue free cartoons made for international consumption.

I've noticed a huge inaccuracy when you were talking about the original THX "Cimarron" audio, THX made it's debut in 1983 with Return of the Jedi's premiere, alongside it's famous "ear-splitting" theme, the "Deep Note", on their "Wings" trailer, Cimarron made it's debut before Willow in 1988, and was one of two THX trailers to not use the actual Deep Note (the other being "Grand"). TL;DR: The THX Deep Note was there since THX began.

WOW........OK! As a fellow Degrassian (and proud of it might I add), I need to voice my two cents!! The person who found that 'Degrassi Rap On Rights' video had worked their ass off trying to uncover it and bring it back into the spotlight again only for you to more less shit upon it and put it in the "F-Tier" for being 'too cringe'?! You're cringe!! Yeah, I said it. Much of Degrassi's media, especially from the OG 1979 to 1992 era is extremely obscure and very hard to find. Obviously you're not too familiar with the OG Degrassi and are more into the TNG/Next Class era which is more polished and 'Americanized', so let me be frank.......when Linda Schyuler and the late Kit Hood first created Degrassi, they didn't want a polished, Americanized show full of glitz and glamour. Most of the actors weren't actors....they were real children with ZERO acting experience once so ever. With Linda and Kit's expertise and talents, they built their own union with their own rules and expectations. These kids learned how to be actors, reasons why everything within the Degrassi series was so 'flawed'. That's what made the show stand out, even after all these years!! It's not perfect, it's not polished, and that's the way many of us Degrassians like it! It has that charm that simply cannot be explained. It may look cringe and a pile of feces in the eyes of some, but for us, it's perfect just the way it is!

As for me, I have a major complaint with FX/FXX. Why the bloody hell is everything TV-MA?! It sounds like a blind guess to me. Not that I hate the network or anything, just something I have a huge issue with.

That's a fantastic S tier list, especially with Planes Trains and Automobiles having over an hour of deleted scenes. I can imagine either a fan edit that restores it all and makes the film ridiculously long or an edit that replaces certain scenes and practically changes it into a different film much like how the TV edit of Cheech & Chong's Next Movie is distinct enough from the theatrical cut. :)

Man I wish I had kept all my childhood tapes. I know for a fact I had the Welcome to Pooh corner episode "Pooh Cleans Up" on there. The song in it is burned into my memory

I watched the video, and it was a great video. But where the hell was the Earthworm Jim pilot that was found around the same time as the Sailor Moon one?

It already seems like 2023 will be even more wild! Since Deena and Pearl (All Segments) from Sesame Street, almost all of All That, A Dora the Explorer Commercial Featuring George Lopez, Youri the Spaceman, Bluey Pilot, The Owl House Pilot, and 2 1930’s Cartoons, Ace of Spades, and Bimbo in Accordion Joe, have now been found! At least, those are the ones I think are notable, especially those 2 1930’s Cartoons, which just goes to show that anything and everything in Media can be found!

dude your telling me that "The Hamsters Save Christmas" is ranked higher than the Jeopardy pilot? It's one of the first ever gameshows and a hallmark in American culture... I know it's a fun list but like c'mon.

Tried listening to the Ray tape online, I could only get up to 20 minutes in before feeling like I needed a bleach bath. To explain how BAD this is, I'm "that" type of woman who falls asleep to serial killer documentaries on autoplay. Wouldn't recommend the tape to the community it was leaked for, it's that vile.

There were 2 more pieces of lost media in music, that being So Totally Insane, now known as Little Islands by The Gallery, and Simple Guy, which was found to be made by Coca, along with the full version of the song.
