I click into 1st on slowdown with no problems on my st1300. I've noticed that most Harley Riders just will not wave back to non Harley bikes. So, I stopped unless I see them give it up first. For the carb bikes, I drain them but use "Stabil" brand fuel stabilizer and Marine Gas for storage. Keep the videos coming.

Couldn’t agree more, Greg took the words out of my mouth. I’m also from Florida. However I don’t own a gold wing. I have a 24 Road Glide. That being said I do love the wing and I wave at all bikes as long as it is safe to do so at the time. Keep up the good work. And be safe out there. Maybe one day I’ll officially visit Canada rather than stare at it from the border. 😂

@@johnbaxley50 most of my friends ride Road Glides. one of them bought a 2003 Gold Wing recently from a friend who was "retiring" from riding at age 83. i LOVE the look of the new Road Glides and FARKLING MY RIDE is something i have ALWAYS loved.... can't do that (very much on the Wing).... but, you surely can (and i AM jealous of that). ride safe and hope that OUR paths will cross one day

The numbers tell the story Doc. You are on your way now and the Goldwing community is tuning in. I feel your pain when listening to your boat story. Been there and had to either say no or make sure it was not possible for anyone to use said item. Difficult decisions but there are times you can't be the nice guy. Thanks for the ride along. Enjoy and ride safe out there.

Throughly enjoying your content! Keep it up! As far as the helmet, switching to Cardo has solved most of my coms issues. I have a Schuberth C5 and it had built in slot for com unit and speakers pre installed, i ripped that out and put a Cardo on the outside. My experience with Sena was the 20s and 30s and both of them had connection issues almost identical to what your describing. Havent had that yet with the Cardo, maybe it will develop 😂

Thanks for the tip! Next time I do a system swap I’ll try the Cardo.

Hmm. I have a hunch it’s the Gold Wing that helps get those views and grow those subs Doc. Just a hunch. A proper fitting helmet should squeeze the cheeks. The padding will, over time, relax about 10% from it’s new condition. To the lending & borrowing..Anyone that borrows anything from family or friends should ensure it’s returned in the same or better condition they received it. That’s a classic understanding instilled in us from good parenting. Short of that. You are taking your chances. If that isn’t the case. We learn quickly not lend stuff. So sad that people give no thought to being good stewards towards things that are not their own. Whether it be picking up their garbage at campsites to borrowing boats from caring friends or family members. You are a good man Doc. Keep on doing what you do. Going forward. Experiences becomes wisdom. Agree with many of your points. The use of automotive plastics has become increasingly integrated across all brands. Mass producing sometimes incurs fitment issues. Remember that your Warranty can help provide service or replace ill fitting parts. BTW. The sound & clarity is perfect. Miles of safe smiles my friend.

Thanks very much. Sadly the helmet is getting tighter on my cheeks. I think I may have had one or two hamburgers too many over the last few years. It isn’t that uncomfortable until I talk and end up biting the inside of my cheeks. Haha. Time to hit the treadmill I guess.

Note to self. STOP letting family or anyone borrow you stuff. Period ! Explain why and if care about you they will understand. They might not like it but they should understand. If they dont , there not real friends. Family has to repect your decisions. Just a thought for you to reflect on. Ride your ride brother.
