Cool vid. Not much boots on the ground content for the bike. Had the same issue with the rear brake. As you know it was a non option. Not ok when your counting on it. Took it in...they bleed it..100% better. Hope this has been the case for you since. I don't get a bunch of engine codes but can tell you this....take it to 130mph...even 125...you'll get an evap code. Wich will clear. My tires have held. But i don't burn out. Drag peg though. Funny...typing as i watch your video...was just gonna say...' if you want bigger version go Rocket 3 '... but you know lol....I will say I test road one. Boy howdy that a lot a bike. Shortest test ride I've ever been on. Probably a fine bike for a large stable. But it is just a beast to deal with. And the power is unreasonable. That thing is a widow maker. Especially if you like to boogie. Jusy my opinion. Sportster S is the machine for me. Take care. Dust up the dirty streets

It's always nice to see motorcycle related videos from you. I remember like ten years ago I was a big fan when you had that Yamaha wrf450 pulling wheelies and hanging around with Jake the garden snake and fire guy and Chad. Miss those vids Hi from Greece P. S I am satimate2 the guy that asked for running tips and you made a video about. Thank you I did improve a lot . The reason I asked for help was because I was about to join the Marine Corps here in Greece and actually I did and did a contract and now I'm honorably discharged . Maybe for you it was just some tips but trust me it meant the world to me and made physical training in the Marines much easier

I'm definitely not Harley lover I'm more high-powered sports bikes but I will say I love this bike it may not win any races but it does look good Harley outdid themselves with this bike I still say with the engine they left a little horsepower on the table I think it should have at least 150 horsepower like the other bike they have the adventure bike maybe in the update next year the following year. To give the engine the true potential. Then I will definitely take this bike seriously and look at it maybe purchase it.

One bike I’d look at would be the Lowrider S but if you’re happy with the Sportster S , keep it. Couple of upgrades to improve it.

Needs a double disk brake like vrod you won't be able to crank that thing to the max and expect to stop in emergency traffic. As I do with my muscle rod

Yeah, with the starter issue, take it in and complain. It is under a general (though not publicised) recall. I had my starter clutch replaced under warranty and it fires up every time, first touch. If it is throwing up codes it is on the way out. New design, new problems. I flattened my battery three times just trying to start it. These things happen with new designs. It is a warranty recall though, press them on it to replace the starter clutch. The issue is resolved as far as I know in the 2023 model. It is just the 2021/22 models. [EDIT... Because I thought my bike was the only one with the catastrophic brake fail on the rear] Yeah, my bike has been parked for two weeks now. I lost a lot of nice ride time.. Mine goes in on Friday. I have no rear brake. I was pissed off at the dealer mechanics because I figure that this is simple shit. That you have the same rear brake fail and the same starter fail? It is a Brembo FFS. On a bike at this price, I can forgive the starter, I can't forgive the rear brake.

Do you have a reference to this recall for the starter or do I have to ask about it? I complained about it last year and they did nothing about it.

It's unfortunate but these days you have to expect products to have failures. Overall quality in the vehicle industry is a far cry from what it used to be. At the same time systems become more complex all the time. It's a recipe for failure, but once all the kinks are ironed out things should go smoother.

Haven't had any issues on my 2023 Harley Davidson Sportster-S. When ever a new bike comes out You're going to encounter issues. as of 2023 they seem to have corrected many of the issues that they have in the previous models. It's worth waiting something.

I have the same bike in green. I love it as well. I'm at 700 miles, zero issues so far, besides software update. Going go paint my exhaust flat black this week. Love, love the Dr jekyl Mr hyde exhaust but omg the price 3k wtf! Also, ditto on rear brakes on this bike. Mine is brand new and I have to stomp on rears to get aby braking power. Dealer says nothing wrong. I have trident 660 as well, love love love that bike. The brakes on my triumph are light years ahead of my sportster s.

Nice bike man. I sometimes hear people complain about the limited suspension travel in the rear on this bike and describe it as uncomfortable. Has that been your experience as well? How do you feel on longer rides. I am comparing this to some other options by Triumph and Harley, so any insight you can offer on comfort would be appreciated.

I got the same model, same color and almost the same miles. Yep, rear brake is a little soft. I had the dealer adjust it before I took delivery, and it seems to be working fine. You ain't kidding about the tires, too. I substituted the rear tire with a lower rating Dunlop so it would last longer.

Idk if you've seen it, but a company called Jeykel and Hyde has a very interesting exhaust. I can't use it because I have the passenger seat. Check it out and that small bag you have, looks really 👌 nice, would you recommend it??

I’ve seen the online hype about that exhaust. It looks great but after watching the install videos, entirely too complex with the wiring and piggyback modules. The bag is fantastic. I keep a tire repair kit, helmet lock, and a few other essentials in it. Here’s my link to buy: amzn.to/42J1bs6
