@hamzakareem29

It’s not always about budgeting and covering expense, it’s the problems you are stuck with and don’t feel like dealing with it when the issues occur. It’s your time you have to take out and go to the dealer, drop off, understand what the service advisor is saying, and then get your vehicle back. My neighbor was a VP and had a Mercedes and he was pissed off how his car’s A/C stopped working 3 times and overall other mechanical issues he had with his vehicle. He said it was a nuisance and how he had to focus his time on the car when he could be doing other important stuff.

It's a matter of conditioning. If it's a a BMW or Mercedes, then it must be great...I guess that's the reason why most BMW & MB owners trade their vehicles after 4 years of ownership. I've driven most everything out their to drive from MBs, Jags, BMWs, Lexus, Audi, to include Cadillac and Lincoln. My Bride and I have owned 7 Lexus and 2 Audi. I was not impressed with MB, BMW, or the rest like most people. This is not your grandfather's dodge and automobile manufacturers are constantly changing the game. All of them have their issues and all of them have had major recalls. It really boils down to personal choice. I owned a 2014 Toyota Tundra 1794 Edition...loved the truck, it served me well, no complaints. After 5 years, I was looking to buy a new truck, Toyota had not made any significant updates so I looked at Ford, Chevy, and Ram. Special ordered a 2019 Ram 2500 Limited, had one issue with the Nav screen freezing, took it to the dealer, ordered a new screen and I have not had any issues since the first month of ownership. My Tundra was not in the same class as the Ram. So I know people love their Escalades, it's a status symbol but I'm here to tell you that the Grand Wagoneer is a thing of beauty. The symmetry in how everything is laid out in this vehicle is leaps and bounds above the Cadillac and Lincoln is not a real contender in my eyes. Now, I will admit that the body design for the Caddy is the best out there but I love how this vehicle is laid out and the new 510 HP hurricane engine is a game changer. All GMC products are using the same engine on the same platform with different tweaks for a Escalade, Yukon Denali, and so forth. Look down your nose at the Grand Wagoneer as it pass you by because this is a new day... This is from a family that used to drive only Lexus, Audi and Toyota. I told my Bride I was going considering the Escalade and the GW, She said let's buy the GW because I love your Ram truck and it has performed extremely well. if you buy me the GW then I'll buy you the Ram 3500. Bottom line, Jeep's entry into the luxury SUV market will force everyone to step up their game and that benefits all of us consumers!
