I just actually got the C1this week because it was so much cheaper with the C2 coming out! Over $900 off at Best Buy and on top of total tech for set up because I’m in a wheelchair and needed mounting help I actually got it for only $1333.72 and the TV I had before only had HDR 10 and it was way too dark no matter what I did for calibration so I definitely needed an upgrade and let me tell you it’s like night and day so I’m definitely not complaining but I’m always curious about the little advances so I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on these videos! The C2 has the new EX Panel from LG Display (the smaller bezels is the dead giveaway) , so the "Evo" panel is LG Electronics video processing optimizing the EX panel. The C2 should be noticeably brighter than the G1 let alone the C1 (supposedly). As for the stand, it's now much easier to stick a soundbar in front of the TV so it's more functional in that regard. Hey Tha_VillaMan, did you notice the TV is a lot lighter? Reports indicated the 65" would be 48% lighter.
@ThaVillaMan

I did notice the weight it’s like half that of the C1. It’a kinda jarring. EVO vs EX is just a difference in marketing.
@johnb4905
2 жыл бұрын
@@ThaVillaMan There is a distinct difference. EX is a marketing term from LGD and refers to the panel name. Evo is a marketing term from LGE which they say is a combination of the latest panel and their optimization of it. Frankly LGE should just drop their "Evo" marketing as it's meaningless now.
