One of the best reviews of this bike I’ve seen. Lots of good practical insights. Thanks!

One the best parts of these Multistradas is the suspension. All the focus is always on power but the suspension is what truly makes it a beast in corners and windy roads. The pikes peak V4 is my dream bike and I am getting up there in age. Hoping to get one used in a few years.

A big Ducati superbike fan but this bike looks really good. Ducati seems to know what riders want and get it to market. LOVE the views from your ride.

Well done, I think I’ve watched every review of the same event, I enjoyed yours over others. Personally I still can’t decide if I wanna sell my 2016 pikes Or keep and get a streetfighter. May I ask what camera are you using?

Great review, you present the bike in a knowledgeable way and at the same time are very humble. I currently have a deposit on the new PP and anxiously waiting for delivery. I like how you maintain your composure with the shenanigans' going on around you!

Great informative review. I’m a 44 teeth fan ,also chase on two wheels and moto geo,I noticed you were in same group. I also am not tallest at 5`/9 32 inside leg. Ducati Glasgow fitted the lower spec seat for me to try and that was fine. My pikes peak is on order . Really liked your review 😊👍👍🇬🇧

Wow thank you so much!!-I really appreciate you watching my review-44 teeth and Chase did such an amazing job on their reviews I feel mine is so lack luster lol!!

@@redspaderacing definitely not lacklustre. You came across really well I thought,your personality shone. You say the guys are great riders etc, that you stayed at back,even parking to one side in mountains. Be confident 💪 be strong. Tell your story. Chase on two wheels got me really interested in multistrada pikes peak back few years with the 1260. I loved his enthusiasm. I’ve paid deposit partly because of this on V4 pikes peak and as I’m now waiting for delivery I was really looking forward to these reviews. Your is right up there, actually it’s more interesting due to what you said. I thank you for that and look forward to further reviews. Go for it girl. 😊👍🇬🇧👏👏

Hey, great review! I watched Al Fagans review (from 44 teeth) as looks like he was on the same launch as you....really interesting to hear another point of view and thought it a v comprehensive and interesting review, enjoyed it just as much as the 44 teeth content which is always top quality! The bike looks quality, though it does come at a cost. I think for a 1 bike garage you cant really get better than something like this! Cheers 😎👍

Wow. First Multistrada and it’s the V4. I would say try the 1200s or 1260s now that you rode the 4. The twins add more character to the feel and the 1260 adds more midrange pull that’s instantly there for pulling on the highway or shooting from the intersection without reving it up. Then finally try the V2s. A very balanced bike that’s easier to ride but still has the punch and does everything the others do but at a more controlled pace plus it’s lightest and feels lower as far as center of gravity goes. The V2 some say is the best bike to have everyday. I ride a 2014 1200 GT and I don’t feel a need to trade up or down. The 2014 has a shorter wheelbase and is a much better canyon carver than anything newer with the longer wheelbase. If your into off road, the 19” wheel bikes (1260 and V2) can be had with the wire wheels.

Great review. Just a small correction: the radar is located on the front and rear of the bike, not on the sides. It tracks vehicles coming from the rear with the rear radar and alerts you once they get into your blind spot. As the front radar picks them up the alert is canceled.

So was your favorite feature the adaptive cruise control or the wide handlebar?
@redspaderacing
2 жыл бұрын
I think my favorite feature is the counter rotating crankshaft which allows the bike to be so nimble despite it's massive size and weight. the adaptive cruise control is definitely a great electronic feature and the handlebar width is pretty typical for these types of bikes so not sure I would call that a feature in itself. However the wide bars couple with that crankshaft make this an easy ride for sure.
