The first review I saw the reviewer gave it favorable reviews, with the only complaint being it was twisty around corners. I immediately thought since carbon isn’t a twisty material, it must be the pivots. Scott buys this enclosed tech from another Swiss brand I hear, they may need to go back to the drawing board and possibly ditch the design altogether or figure out a way to tighten up these pivots. If you are getting play at the outset, it’s only gonna get more worn hence looser with time, then it will start to creak as well. It’s why I don’t like full suspension, even tho I know it’s popular and isn’t going away; all those pivots add weight and detract from stiffness. I like the old Scalpel, that was -pivotless, light for alloy, that was in the days of QR and 26”ers. Carbon can be tuned to flex one way and be as stiff as a steel bar the other way, so perhaps in the future we can ditch all or most linkages.

Wait, how old are you? You're riding a 6k ride~ But you know what? Glad you know how to work on bikes and I have no doubt you will take care of and maintain this pricey ride. Props :)

More than that 😂😂😂😂. I work hard and lots of hours to ride fast on a nice bike. It’s what I want to do and I pay for it myself the whole way. I have over 2k miles on this bike alone and by the end of the year it’ll be over 3.5k so i get a new one every year and am able to break even because I take care of it.

Be cool if you show the complete disassembly and reassembly of all the pivots. Someone might need to know the orientation of the red and blue inner and outer spacers on the upper pivots.

@@tgfysiyf I have a 2022 Spark 920 and I just had to pull the whole bike apart trying to track down a horrible creaking noise that sounds like it's coming from the lower pivot or BB. It's still making the horrible noise and I cannot figure out where it's coming from. I even pulled the BB (damaging the cups in the process) just to make sure it wasn't the BB. Frustrating as hell.

@@normanderson01 I had a bad creak in my headset. Had to overgrease every single piece of it for it to stop. Also had to clamp down the bars to get everything to line up correctly and not have slop in the headset.

@@normanderson01 I have a 2022 spark rc 900 with a similar problem at the moment. Creaking sound when you get out of the saddle and put power down going up hill especially, sounds exactly like a typical dry bb. Took bb apart and regreased everything, still creaking. Figured it has to be something in the frame pivots. These new frames seem to be notorious for creaking and amplifying every noise you hear through the big hollow space around the shock.
