Thanks! I will mic up with a better quality mic. The spool does sound pretty sweet. It’s just the ETS turbo kit, fmic, catback exhaust, and radium catch cans at this time. Lots more to come this summer! :)

Hey bossman, so you dont disappear like so many others do. Stop and do a trans swap and drop the same Fa20 headstuds into the head. You need to be proactive with supporting mods before power gains.

Mike adkins m-tuned. No arp studs. He dialed in the tune and the cylinder pressure looked great so we are not worried about the heads lifting. Heads lifiting is moreso an issue on running high boost on the stock turbo. I have 93 at 18psi and e30 at 20psi, dual maps. We went conservative, until STI trans and some fueling mods are added. I am getting used to the powerband and getting my 4-5 shifts down quicker. I will post 60-130s in a week or two once it’s a tad bit warmer outside.

Cylinder pressures lift heads regardless of turbo setup friend. Its not anymore stock turbo issue than big turbo unless big turbo can make more power w less cyl press

@@stock.cars.2ned that’s news to me. About 10 weeks ago, the narrative was these kits at 20-22psi ~400hp tune will live pretty much forever on the stock motor Guess I gotta talk to my tuner and see what he thinks. My cars been solid so far for what it’s worth. Only time will tell I guess haha.

I agree, i never addressed your tune. I tried explaining that big turbo with 20psi and small turbo with 30psi BOTH making 500whp will both lift heads. @@luvhcchris

I didn’t get head studs as I’m waiting on a closed deck so I can use the larger 1/2 inch and address other engine components when released (Kelford 280s and springs). For now I’m just treating myself as a test subject and driving the car hard to see how well it stands the beating 😊 Also trying to figure out a solution for fueling that isn’t meth injection. I’m hoping the IBR sic is able to work on the fa24 or nostrum at least releases di injectors to supplement a drop in solution for the time being Edit: forgot to note I’m not at 500hp and much closer to 400. So perhaps that power level is helping in my favor 😊. I absolutely would love to turn it up on this turbo, once my motor is build, closer to the 1.8-2 bar boost but fueling is limiting me right now (tuner stated we hit the fueling limit on my tuning session so he backed it down from that point)
