This is also one of those almost faultless cars. My cousin bought the mazda 3 in 2008/9 (brand new) if i remember correctly. 300 000km's on and it's still running like a well oiled machine. The comfort, ride quality and just basic feel of the the brand is worth the buy.

Great video man 🥳 the Mazda3, one of my colleagues has the older one, it has done over 250K on the clock 😅, couldn't believe it. They used travel a lot between Gauteng and W/Cape, it still drives great looks like it has less than 100K. This car is a tank, the Koreans know how to build one. I hope the newer models live up to that quality & reliability

I’m in love with the new one’s interior, same thing they have on the CX30. I thought the updated Cx5 will have the same interior, it’s mind boggling why/how they kept the old infotainment/gearbox when this looks more premium. Power wise they should have done better than 88kw, plus no turbo 😭

Lovely designs by Mazda lately. 👌🏾. Indeed the CX-5 should have gotten this. Maybe they are preparing for a new generation altogether🤷🏽♂️ I think the 2.0L is sufficient but the 1.5L gets me worried, I have not driven the 1.5L but I really think those should have been turbo charged.😰

Most of Japanese N/A engines kind of require to up the revs to make it faster coupled with the worst engine noise, However I do sometimes enjoy driving NA engines and their hesitant engines.

The engine is almost a let down considering that it really over revs, even on changing slopes its ready to rev so to keep up. It gets a little bit uncomfortable.

@@sebuwam I bought a second hand one 1 year old and it was a tight buy so I didnt really test the car out much and I didnt have that much experience with cars before so when I brought it home that following week I was searching up if I can put a turbo in it lel. Its faster than cars I previously drove but for that amount of money I paid for it I expected way more.(Not the actual number of money but the difference is basically paying 200k for a car instead of 100k,we had an old suzuki sx4 and I could buy 2 new ones with with 100k each like 10 years ago and that car isnt that much slower.) Dont also like how easily the front gets small holes from tiny rocks hitting it while driving.

@blackdragonstory1122

@@AvuxeniWeAreTorqueingCars I have had it for a year already,its 2022 hatch model. Sometimes it feels slugish in speeding up. Before I had diesel so you would run the car in 2k range or even lower and could easily hit the pedal and speed up quickly(that car had a turbine too) and the fuel consumption was somewhere around 6l. With mazda being petrol and not even having a turbo means that sometimes unintentionally I could be in the 2k range and if I wanna speed up its gonna be very slow and require me to downshift. After several years I will probably get used to it,but rn I dont really like how I have to think about revs to overtake someone and due to our roads having a lot of curves means there might be less opportunity to overtake. Many times right before a straight part of the road I will have to downshift and be in 3k+ range just to give myself enough acceleration to maybe overtake someone and then as I exit a curve there is a car from the other side so I gotta give up and change gears again to lower the revs and consumption. Btw my fuel consumption is 8.4. This car imho is not good for people that drive short distances,its more for longer distances(with speed around the range of 130/140 km per hour,you can go faster but you will be at higher reves). Now that I have it I cant really change it so it'll have to do for me. When buying a car you should be buying it based on your needs. Idk if newer models are better though. Like they have the X versions as well,maybe those give more power so I am not saying dont buy mazda,just saying the G variant isnt really a fuel saver and the power loss might not be ideal if you like to driver fast. And if you like manual also it seems the more power they have the less likely it is to have a manual gearbox.

@@blackdragonstory1122 Got you... You just can't outgrow the need for the power I guess. Especially coming from a diesel car. The grunt is available from down low. I won't lie, I test drove this car a few times just to get a feel of it properly. I'm a huge fan and I deep down want to see myself with one. I just can't imagine the level of restraint it would now have on me, having driven turbo charged cars with 250nm upwards for the past few years. Otherwise, a lovely lovely car. I love everything else, including the Bose😍.
