Very short video due to my SD card corrupting the video file during transfer to PC (you can see a few glitches here and there from this) plus some low res phone videos from some friends at the end that give you an idea of how it sounds.
This is not the final version of the exhaust, this is the very first version I designed and tested.
Final Release will have a higher short pipe closer to the foot peg and the Y pipe underneath will be higher up and cleaner looking.
Made from Japanese Stainless 304 (or Japanese Titanium) designed by myself and handmade in Thailand, Steel was used on my bike for testing purposes to make it easier to modify before fixing the final design.
A full titanium system will be available also.
I misspoke in the video in regards to the pipe diameter explanation.
The shorter can is actually slightly smaller by a few mm so once the revs along with the exhaust velocity builds up, it flows more out of there for more top end.
I wont reveal exactly how I achieved this and will keep this secret for as long as I can, it isn't just the diameter or length that enables this to work.
Different style of end cans with DB reducers will be available once the design is finished, each exhaust is hand made to order and takes 2-3 days.
This was just a passion project for myself but the feedback on my social media has been huge so I am happy to produce these for anyone else with an R7.
I am not exaggerating when I claim the power and torque is significantly more over stock even compared to the expensive brand short exhausts made for the MT/R7, the bike never used to power wheelie in 1st and 2nd before, nor did it have such a crisp throttle response, with a remap it can only get better!
Monday I hope to reveal the finished version, if you like the look, sound and the idea of more power and a crisper throttle response, this is the exhaust to get.
Aiming for under $700+ shipping for stainless & under $1000 for full titanium, it will not be more than this.
Full bolt on along with removable DB reducers, retaining pillion pegs and also (thankfully for my larger footed friends) more room for your right foot so no more burning your shoes on the exhaust!.
