Nice car, but they're asking 95k for a used car that will probably end up selling for around 75k. Many of these dealers are still living in 2020-2022, they are in for a rude awaking over the next few years. Car repo's are at an all time high, interest rates still rising. The days of "market adjustment" , or even paying MSRP are over ! I know quite a few people who paid mid 60k for new ZL1 1LE's in 2018-2019, the market is coming back to normal now, but the dealers are still wearing Covid masks. lol GM is cutting production on their vehicles in hopes of keeping demand high with low availability, but it's not going to work. They all got greedy and want to make 30k selling one vehicle, instead of 30k by selling three vehicles.

Your right. I got my ZL1 1LE brand new in 2019 off the show room floor for $65k

Your point is kind of invalid. Of course you can buy one 5 years older for cheaper, most vehicles you can. The ‘23s are that high being the last year they made them. Just like anything else. It’s not market inflation. It would cost you nearly that to turn a ‘24 into a true 1le. Most people aren’t getting their zl1s repo’d you must be thinking of dodge… you know after that whole scandal they had.

@@Benny0910 I do agree, the fact that they are not being made any longer is a big opportunity for dealers to apply mark-up. As you mentioned , Dodge is doing the same thing with their discontinued Hemi Cars. However, I think anyone who believes we've seen the last of gas powered Camaro's or Hemi Callengers/Chargers is a fool, the brands are far too valuable to retire. Nobody want's EV's , and manufacturers are losing billions producing them, it's unsustainable. When the administration changes after the next election, you're going to see the resurgence of high powered ICE vehicles. I firmly believe anyone who is paying mark-up on a final year Camaro, Challenger, Charger, is going to be very upset in a couple years.

@@jbrewster6175 no I meant dodges scandal by forging peoples credit score and income to put them into vehicles they can’t afford. Is 95k expensive? Yes it is. But considering it cost that to build a ‘24 plus you get a window sticker with oem specs makes the price increase. I can build a ‘24 for 90k all day but the value goes down being it isn’t technically oem. Did Chevy screw people with the CE? Yes. Do I think they are gone for good? Probably not but at least in this form I think they will be. 30 years from now they will be worth every penny.

@@Benny0910 They won't be worth anything in 30 years if you can't get gas for them, or you're not permitted to drive them. But I do agree, of all the current muscle cars built over the last decade or so, I think the ZL1-1LE will go up in value more than any other. There were two ZL1-1LE's listed for sale near me in the last month, both 2018's, one with 4 k miles, the other with less than 1k miles, both sold within minutes of being listed, both were listed for around 67k. These cars are rare and unique, but 95k is a big ask, proven by the fact the car is still for sale.

$10k over sticker asking price??? LOLOLOL. Not no, but Hell naw!! Pigs get fat, but hogs get eaten!! (EDIT 10-03-23 - My original post was before the news that the ZL1 1LE isn’t being made for 2024, so now 10k over is probably a small price to pay for one. That news made them more valuable over night)

Yeah you’re right. These things are sky rocketing in price. Hell, to build a ‘24 “half” zl1 1le, it’s 83k. By half I mean you can only option the wing, rims and satin hood. Even doing ‘24 conversion in insanely expensive. The wheels/ street tire combo oem is close to 6 grand. Brakes 1500, wing 5 grand and oem front end conversion in 1500. The you would technically have to change the rear gears to make it completely 100% 1le.

@@Benny0910 Yeah. I’m glad I didn’t wait to try to order a 2024 2SS1LE OR ZL1. I bought a 2023 2SS1LE Almost 2 months ago. Love it!! I didn’t need the extra power. Got another more powerful/ quicker car for that.

I put in an order for a Camaro ZL1 1LE back in May of 2022 never got allocation then got offered a ZL1 Collector's Edition and took it. I almost held out for a 2024 1LE but I had a gut feeling I would never get one and was right. The CE probably better suited me more of a street car than the 1LE@@Benny0910
