This session kicks off with a special address from the Council for Environmental Quality (CEQ's) Senior Director of Resilience -setting the stage for a discussion on policy developments and industry opportunities under the Biden Administration. Followed by a review of industry positions and updates on national policy and legislative developments over the past year that present opportunities for the ecological restoration industry. We’ll also look ahead to emerging opportunities to address public environmental challenges that would benefit from greater involvement of our industry via better policy incentives. To round out perspectives, then hear from a state policy expert on Florida and joint state and federal policy developments underway to attract more industry investment in needed resiliency restoration projects and water quality markets within Florida.
