If Ford has an MPV, that would be a better comparison - both with 7-seats and multi-purpose use cases. But in Ford's current line up, this comparo makes sense. I'd say for bigger, extended families where relatives hitch a ride every once in a while, the Everest. For small families with 4 members or below, the Territory, GRANTING that you have the budget for either because the price difference is substantial. Enjoyed this one. Thanks Autodeal!

Why is there a need to compare economical status based purely off a car?? I can have billions of dollars in my bank account but still prefer to have an MPV because I don't find any good reason to own a luxury car. If my car takes me from one point to wherever I want to, without any major problems, then I'm totally satisfied. Those extra electronic features are additional points of failure in the future, and surely will be a headache even if I could afford to fix them all.

Well if you’re considering specifically the top of the line Everest at 2.5m, another 500k gets you in an Explorer which gives you crossover comfort with SUV space and power. Also Caco brings up a great point about using all 7 seats. I only need to do that less than once a month… it makes more sense to buy a CUV and rent a van for the occasional family trips

@tlevans62
9 ай бұрын
Actually, the 1st Gen was based on a redesigned S330. This version of the “Territory” is actually a rebadged Ford “Equator” in other markets. The 1st Gen Territory is still sold in China and other markets and is actually quite reliable, since it was only sold overseas as of 2020, although the redesigned S330 was first sold in China in 2018. There’s actually a lot of differences between the S330 and the 1st Gen Territory and they tried to make sure it was going to be a decent vehicle since it’s the joint venture’s first launch overseas and since it was badged as a Ford there was a lot that needed to be changed. This 2nd Gen has a few issues because it was launched overseas from the start, so they didn’t get the bugs out before they launched it.

Is already going fully inside of the car but,.Most of the time closing his door not once but twice It's because he isn't seated properly yet,.Then and there if he is already seated properly! Then on the third time his door will already be fully closed Same issue,.When I'm Infront plus our family driver besides me and my dad is still seating at the back IN MY SISTER'S CROSSOVER! Which is a TOYOTA INNOVA No issues for my mom,.Since getting in and out of the car is a breeze for her but still same issues with my dad Of course no issues,.In our family van which is the Toyota Grandia (year 2020 model) with it's engine still below,,..The front passenger and the driver Since it's an old model,.No grab handles,.So for my parents to go inside the car they still need to grab the door lock of the car our the front seat of the car,,.. Specially when my mom is riding so yeah! It is abit hassle for her not a hassle for my dad but yeah abit of a hassle for my mom's side of things As for my other sister's car,.Which an SUV! My mom's style of getting in Is both of her feet,.Has to climb the step board of the car! Before entering of course for her for better leverage,,..As for my dad same thing too But not once in,.Closing the door but twice of same issue there in my mom's SUV And finally for my other sister Honda City,.Well abit of an issues is the front passenger is already occupied with stuff like her bags as well as her shoes But for the back seats,.No issues at all since getting in and out of her car is just like my eldest sister crossover,,..Or maybe an Auv? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 Which is the Toyota Innova,.Which like what I said before specially for my mom! If you drive a lot on lubak roads (thanks dpwh), places with steep ramps, flood-prone areas, get the everest with best in class wading depth and the Trend variant has thicker wheels. If you're mostly city driving on smooth roads (relatively) at less than 8 kms a day with 4 family members or less, Territory is the better value. This comparo is the car models my wife and I discussed for months now. Lol 😅 Though exact models are the Ford Everest Trend around 1.8M and that one Ford Territory X around 1.6M. Caco you gave my wife more reason to defend, for sure another months of debate with my wife. 🤣

Everest has better aftermarket support vs Territory and the extra space, you can’t make it up. It’s better to have the extra space, extra ground clearance, extra ports, extra compartment, extra power, extra torque and not need it than need it and not have it.
