I guess it needs to be said, that most of this mess was driver error. Using a low range was not a good idea, you need momentum to get up and around this mud and the steepness of the hill, not to mention to self-clean the tires. So you can get a front locker on the Broncos, But the top of the line raptor doesn't have one? Why Wouldn't they add that as an option? Maybe too heavy on the front end because it's technically a Baja truck? Hmm. I've been a lifelong Ford man but for that price tag I'm not impressed with the capabilities at all. My mid level XLT has a rear locker and low range. With 35" KO2's from BFG online. I've been through similar "sticky" terrain but I kept momentum and I didn't stop to test capabilities lol. BFG TA/KO2 tires are not good in mud. I have them, they are good tires, they are awesome in a handful of other situations but mud - no. You need stubbier ones. Also, wide tire size is bad in mud. Thinner ones sink in deeper, potentially to the bottom, where there is somewhat more grip. More importantly, if you take that long entry dirtroad and send it - that's where the RaptoR will shine.
