If you need to lower the gearing you'd go down on the front sprocket. So it "rubbing the guard now" would only make it better.

Good review. I like the comments about the ergos. Most reviews have just said it is better not really why other than better contact pints with the plastic. The ktm xcf has a 13t counter sprocket so it should fit your bike.

Hi Matt, thanks. Do you think the 13 countershaft sprocket will give me the gear ratio I’m looking for to be more in 3rd gear as appears to 2nd?

I would say a no brainer for off-road/trails. I think my math was off. I did it for a 51/13 combo. If you have a 52 already it is equivalent to changing to a 56t sprocket with a 14t front.

How does it compare to your old 350? I know you had a vortex and suspension and maybe more but thoughts? Also did your previous 350 have the 10mm lower suspension? If not do you like it on the new bike? Thanks and keep up the videos !

Thanks for the question, it is much different than my 2021 as far as how it feels, the suspension is better in my opinion or maybe the updated frame makes it feel better. I think I will keep suspension stock for now same with the ECU. The engine has more power in sand tracks to me. Both bikes I had has the 10mm lower suspension and I don’t think it helps a ton but may cater to the shorter people. To answer the questions I think stockwith a 53 rear sprocket is all I need ?

Great vid and thx for all the info. Did you consider the 250? I’ve had a couple 350’s but now thinking about the 250. Unfortunately doesn’t seem like to many people go the 250 route. Your thoughts?

I did consider a 250f again. Love the 350 for all around tho. If I was racing woods only I recon the 250f is better but since I like sand moto tracks I prefer the 350f

I know you want to ride third gear most times but drop your rear sprocket to a 49 and second will give you all you need to ride the track. I like the bigger sprockets for the woods so I'm not so heavy on the clutch. Track though I like the taller gearing

Been riding 2 strokes my whole life, 45 years old 5 foot 7 currently own a 2021 beta 250RR, just paid it off and thinkong of switching to a 4 stroke was leaning toward this bike due to lower seat height and happy medium between 250 and 450? You still liking it?

13/50 will be a little more snap than 14/52 for 3rd gear. 13/48 is basically the same as 14/52 so 13/50 is kind of the middle ground.

Any idea if a suspension tech could add the 10mm they took away to bring it back to standard ride height?
@iainhutchinson345
2 жыл бұрын
@@vlllntynn20 what about a taller seat. Adding height to the forks is likely to mess with the handling/sag etc. I have a 2023 FC350, and for me the lower centre of gravity works.

I mean I would just want it to match the standard height of the KTM, but to each their own. My 2018 FC350 was not lowered 10mm and it already felt like it rode low in the stroke to me.
