Great explanation on the complicated way Stellantis treats the fuel economy stats. As an owner of a Rubicon 4xE, it feels like a lot of folks are having a difficult time understanding how these systems actually perform. I’m very similar to your use-case, and rarely add fuel anymore. In fact, since fuel does become stale after a while, and the system has to maintain that, I have only been keeping a quarter tank at max. I think it’s a fantastic platform with a few quirks. When it comes to the engines supposed to be behaving similar to the non hybrid counterparts, the GC never has had the 2.0T as an engine on its own, but the Wrangler does. That makes the gas only to PHEV conversion a little less different. The GC is used to either the very high revving V6 or the monsters that are the HEMI V8's. But the 4xE is very obviously being set up to transfer to the 3.0T when it comes out, as it will replace the Hemi's and the V6 and will be much more hybrid friendly than a big cast iron V8. Also it will allow them to scale up the 4xE to the 3 row and the wagoneers

I don't think so I think the 3.0T will only replace the V8 and will probably have a low take number. They are both pretty overkill for the GC, the 3.0T with the boost of the hybrid would have absolutely ridiculous levels of power. you don't really need an 800 hp GC
