Chassis is different so if you on the throttle, u will see the benefits, it rides more mx like on high speed whoops etc. if want to dumb it down and adjust the suspension to make it more plush it will ride more like the TPi you have in this vid. Suspension is a big plus on the TBI stock, lighter narrower and better ride position. If set up correct, it will be a better ride than tpi

Nice review. I need to get down there. You have to remember the transmission is geared lower on these new bikes to match closer to a xc-w. That's probably some of the reason the front tire could feel like it's easier to hop then your tpi. TPI are smooth, I love mine.

Oh that's gotta be it! I didn't know it was geared lower! Thanks! Both bikes are awesome! I love them both!

@@utmx . The sprockets are actually 14/49 on the TBI vs 13/51. So they made a big change internally. I think that might be a good thing to have lower gearing. I have considered going with a 52 on the rear.

I just got one and my sprockets are 14/48. That's extremely high. I'll probably go with a 14/50 or 14/51 which is still way higher than my 2021 TPI.

So now that you have had more exposure to the TBI will you be selling your TPI to get one?
@utmx
Жыл бұрын
I definitely want to haha. The tpi is amazing but the tbi is so much more lively and aggressive! So if you like chill go tpi. If you like explosive response go tbi! Except I hear great things about the 350 so I think I'm gonna try the 350xcf out first

which one you think is going to be more reliable in the real world... especially for dual sport usage not just offroad enduro?@@utmx

@misterchuck6866 hmmmm both pretty equal id say. Tbi you mix gas there's no oil pump so it might take the win there but my tpi has been extremely reliable

It's called Jericho/Cherry Creek. This is also where they run the National Hare & Hound.

Hey this spot is called soldiers pass. People also call it the corrals because there a little corral at the parking lot. You should be able to find it online. Join utah dirt bikers fb page and dirt bikers of Utah.

@@utmx I picked up a 2023 FX 2 months ago. I already upgraded to the anti gravity battery. Made a big difference. I am still having flameouts on steep climbs even after raising up the idle.

@@fattie2550 I'm gonna get the battery for next season for sure! It definitely flames out easier than my 300 but I just ride the clutch a bit more. I used to have old crappy bikes so I learned to really ride and feather the clutch a lot because my old bikes flamed out a lot so I think that helped me in the long run!

@@chrispederson4157 Its an ok product, I personally didnt like how they lose top end pull, the bikes are plenty stock. If you have money to burn there are better things to burn it on.
