In these competitions, they also do a slow ride. Longest time wins. Usually, it's like one or two parking spaces.

The BMW wins, it's nimbler than a Harley and doesn't scratch the ground !

Yes they are lighter and more nimble. That's why they compete in a separate class with the HD Pan American.

@@timothyalexander3591 Ok cool that the HD Pan Am can compete. Can a stock Pan Am compete or do you need to modify it to be eligible? My slow speed sucks and I am practicing all the time and I do want to do a rodeo one day.

You would run it stock. They have rules on what can be upgraded. They want to keep it a even playing field for all competitors. It's about the skill of the rider and not the bike. Slow riding is tough, I do ok until they put the cones up and then I suck at slow riding, LOL. I've been working on it a lot.

@@timothyalexander3591 "Slow riding is tough" Yes, it's very hard. Here in France, we also have to drive very slowly between poles during the motorcycle license test and the majority fails to obtain their license the first time... 🥵 That said, I think riding slow is easier on a BMW RT than on a Harley since the center of gravity is lower.
