Really enjoying your content Dave! I’m also an MT-10 owner but out in the UK. Bought the exact same pipe and looking to do the Whoolich remap in the coming weeks. Just wanted to check, are you not supposed to install the metal exhaust gaskets between the header and Leovince pipes? These were probably still located inside the cat when you took it off. At least they were in mine! Keep up the great videos.

It won't do 300. That's 186mph and there is no way it is doing that unless you shot it out of a cannon... Top speed if you are in optimal conditions in a tight tuck, is maybe around 265kph if you are really lucky. It's gearing limited to that speed.

Will decat modification and flash the ECU affect the factory warranty in US?
@SquireSCA
Жыл бұрын
Depends on your dealer. By law, they would have to show that the modification(s) are what CAUSED the problem, in order to deny the warranty claim... My 2022 Triumph Speed Twin had modified suspension, intake mod, exhaust mod, full custom tune, and a bunch of other stuff.... and when a piston came apart, I was able to get it all covered under warranty, which was a brand new top end of the motor and rebuild...

I have a Hayabusa with helibars on it I can't take it anymore too much pain wrist pain and back pain I'm going to get rid of it what would you recommend zx1400 or Yamaha mt-10 I want the sickest most craziest insane motorcycle I can find for the streets I don't ride for transportation just for entertainment so I need the most upright comfortable bike. Is there any bike out there you know that offers upright position but yet amazing performance for top speed and acceleration but yet comfortable at the same time
@SquireSCA
Жыл бұрын
If you want more upright comfort, lots of power and handling but you still want top end speed, then you need something with a partial fairing at least. My vote for that bike, is the Aprilia Tuono V4 1100rr or Factory. If you were not concerned with top speed, I would say MT-10, Super Duke 1290R or Ducati Streetfighter V4... The Ducati Streetfigher V4 is the most bonkers. 208hp stock, is more than the Busa and 140lbs lighter. But the lack of fairing means anything over 140mph isn't a ton of fun. But there is no more of an insane street bike, than that. But high speed requires an Aero package to slice through the wind and give you some protection, so for that I lean towards the Aprilia...

I have never tried them. I have 1" riser mounts for my ZX14R, but honestly, I prefer the bike in the stock config. I like how the ZX14R feels to me, but I am tall with long arms. Another option is the MT-10, get the ECU flashed and add the tall touring screen from Yamaha or Puig. That will give you some wind deflection for higher speed runs, you get a bonkers street bike with upright ergos, all the electronic goodies, that amazing Yamaha crossplane sound and a better dealer network...

Plugged PAIR with a marble in the house, and left the servo connected. With these new bikes running a canbus system, its basically a network of devices all communicating back and forth... so when you remove one of the pieces from the network, the ECU doesn't like it.
