Honestly I think alot of buyers will prefer more normal indicators and gearshift. This and lack of shades, buyers need to buy so many aftermarket accessories

It's very interesting, on the white colour, for standard black leather interior, the black faux leather on the inner door panel is different from the black suede/ Alcantara leather on other colours which is much nicer.

As always, great review by hafriz! FYI, apple car play/ android auto easily can be added via rm 3++ wireless adapter BUT u need the browser to be enable while driving the car. It is enable in US but disable in few other countries. Now the question, is the browser disable in D mode?

@@wensiangfong other EV's exempted from any tarrifs and import taxes. But must get AP before import. Tesla exempted from AP so can import as many cars as they wish. I think AP must pay RM10 k to gomen plus another RM20k or more to AP benefactor.

Why Volvo need AP if they already CKD in Malaysia ? Tesla’s AP exemption obviously to attract their investment of manufacturing plant in Malaysia. Why BYD didn’t exempt from it ? Because they were committed to invest in Thailand

How come you did not mention the ultra sonic sensors front and back have been removed in the facelift version, and replaced by Tesla Vision camera only software only solution, which is highly unreliable?

@@LuckyAeon The ultra sonic sensors were not removed from cars made in Giga Shanghai (they were moved in the US and Europe market), until today when Model 3 Highland is launched. Since we are getting our cars from Giga Shanghai, this makes it a first, hence needs to be mentioned. As of today, even the updated Model Y with ambient lighting (not Juniper) retains the ultra sonic sensors. If you look at the bigger picture, even budget cars like the Alza has 360 camera and ultra sonic sensors, and Model 3 Highland is without, unwary buyers will most likely assumed all Tesla has such 'basic' features, and will end up disappointed at the end.

@@ryansmithc Have you tried it bro? The rear camera is not so bad because it is mounted low down, but still less reliable than the good old ultra sonic sensors, especially at the corners. The front camera, mounted at the top of the wind shield, simply cannot see what is in front of the bumper. Just put a box in front of the car and approach it, the front camera cannot see it hence making Tesla Vision useless at the front when it comes to parking. Tesla Vision is also useless for net-like obstacles, for example a wired fence. These are basic stuff, people don't realise how important or useful they are, until one day they are removed.

@@voonpiaosiang2262 Yes, Again, in most use cases you would be approaching your parking spot or destination. The camera from the wind shield simply has to remember the object and the distance. Even if you wake up your car from a parking garage, the car already has pre mapped the location coming into it. Rarely, does something suddenly approach the bottom of the bumper (curbs, cement parking blocks or sidewalks). In which cases would the car not see what is in front of the bumper, if it had not moved to that location beforehand? It's the same way people drive and are able to determine the distance from their bumper without crashing or avoiding obstacles.

Just the lack of physical signal indicators itself is a deal breaker. And also removal of tons of sensors in favor of camera is a no no. I was looking at Nio or BYD slapping Tesla to wake up and bring back sensors.

Because this new m3 is designed and made by china engineer . I think china factory is more flexible to change or upgrade to new production line to produce the new m3. The us factory will just copy everything from China factory once all the problems are settled.

@@JohnDoe-jc4ce Personal experience. I rented a Model Y fore several weeks in Germany last year. I recommend it to anyone who is interested in buying one. I loved the car when it is fully charged. Disliked what is required to get it charged over 90 percent. My trip to Germany was centered around the car and what is needed to get it charged to use it and then make it back to Frankfurt. Will not rent one again. Will never buy one. I went from 92SOC down to 24SOC in 91 miles. It would take around an hour on a fast charger to get it over 90 percent at a cost of around 50-60 EUOS. Charge and hour to drive an hour is about right. Just being parked in the driveway I would lose 1-2 percent charge over night.

@@whlawson5812 not necessarily. it is down to personable preferences. while the driver may like the 0 delay instant torqe the passengers don't. while some people like one pedal plenty people hate it. and guess what, the regen brake of byd don't use brake pad often, contrary to people's belief. seal consume more power because it uses proper and not-so-cheap material thus it is heavier. even the paint on the seal is much thicker than that on a tesla. weight gives you better NVC, more comfort, but less energy efficiency. it is a tradeoff.
