Nick instead of replacing the door, how about you spring loaded hinges for the door I’ll probably make it latch
@nics-systems-electric
7 ай бұрын
Because spring hinges perform worse than door closers. That would make the door struggle to close more. The door doesn't latch because it's bent, changing the closing hardware would not fix that. Especially not installing spring hinges which have less power than a hydraulic door closer and is why multiple are required for a legal residential fire door.

Does the attachment on the firealarm's breaker still allow the circuit breaker to trip under fault conditions, or does it force the breaker to remain on?
@nics-systems-electric
7 ай бұрын
The handle cannot move but the breaker still trips. It's a common misconception that holding the handle on stop the breaker from tripping however that's not true as I have a video showing that. Same reason why when a breaker is tripped you can still push the handle on but it won't actually turn on unless you turn it off first.
